I find this to be quick to make and tasty. I use Veganaise, which is a dairy and egg free mayo, which I love. You can use any low fat mayo in its place. I prefer to use dill pickle relish, although you can use sweet pickle relish as well.
This burger is tasty and the shredded cheese gives it a great flavor. I've used cheddar cheese, co-jack, or a Mexican cheese mixture. You may need more breadcrumbs, depending on how moist your turkey is. I like to serve this with Veganaise or mayo on the side.
This is more like a version of garlic bread or cheese bread. It's actually something I learned to make from my partner. It goes great with Italian dishes or creamy casseroles.
For the bread, I'd suggest a crunchy type of bread, like French bread or a baguette. For the dressing, I use Kraft Fat-Free Zesty Italian dressing. Any type of Italian dressing would work.
I changed this from a basic whole wheat bread recipe I had. I hate hard crusts and this bread has a soft crust, stays fresh and tastes great. I've blogged about it and a lot of people have raved about it.
