Nabbed this from a Whole Foods recipe. Very good especially with the chamoula (separate recipe). This is very chunky, if you want a thin soup add more veggie broth, if you want a thicker soup take some of the chickpeas and lentils and puree them in a blender, then add them back into the soup.

Really, really delicious recipe, and don't get thrown off by the long lists, this is probably one of the easiest recipies I have. My family love these with a little bit of fetta or cottage cheese. I also prefer to eat these in a lavash wrap rather than tortillas.

    Recipe #129500

Great way to get in that daily dose of protein. I found this recipe in the "Veggie Life" magazine, and I have yet to find a recipe in there that I don't like...

    Recipe #129489

I make this all the time for parties, bike trips, whatever. Everyone loves it because it has a nice kick to it.

    Recipe #124740

I made this when my family came over for easter in place of brown-sugar, buttery carrots that my family usually makes. Everyone was skeptical at first, but they all ended up enjoying these. You might want to watch the amount of orange juice you put in, some people like it with more, some with less. Explore, enjoy. :)

    Recipe #124709

I came across these in a vegan cookbook and they are delicious! My parents hate vegan food, but they always ask me to make these for them.

    Recipe #124708

Mmm, another quick and delicious meal. I like black beans because they're high in protein, but incredibly low in fat and calories, nice and filling without the worry. I actually got this recipe off of the back of a can and then messed with a little bit. Um, special tips for making this, I wouldn't add as much water as it says to add, I usually add about 3/4 of a cup to 1 cup of water, but it really depends on how much juice you want. If you think you've added too much you can just cook it longer. ****Also this recipe calls for 2 packets of Sazón Goya without Annatto, which you can find at any grocery store, usually in the aisle with Mexican food, but for some reason this site can't seem to understand. So. Good luck with that.****

    Recipe #124693

I really just found this when I opened up the fridge and found it clogged with vegetables. It's a really tasty soup, great with a piece of sourdough bread. The great thing about soup like this is that it's so flexible, you can add, change, or remove what you want (for the most part) and not have it really affect the soup. In fact, it might make it taste better, so I suggest that you explore with it a bit. :)

    Recipe #124691

When I became a vegan I had to give up all of my favourite pastas, so when I came upon this recipe I was pleasantly surprised. It tastes pretty good! I just want to say that all the amounts I give here are approximate, I never follow the recipe exactly. You might want to add less salt or lemon, and add more peas or olive oil. :) And don't be intimidated by all of the steps, it's actually fairly quick and easy to make!
