WOW! No streaks, no smears, no buffing. This will clean ceramic tile counter tops, windows and their vinyl casings, SS appliances, sealed wood AND it removes hairspray from mirrors. So far that's all I've tried it on, as I came up with this recipe just this morning. I've been a cleaning fool today, experimenting on everything. I love it...Let me know what you think.

This is a recipe from Ivan's on Jost Van Dyke, BVI. This recipe originated at the Soggy Dollar Bar just down the beach...But they wouldn't share their recipe. Luckly Tal, my favorite bartender, did.

I start these pork chops on the stove top in my cast iron skillet and then place them in the oven to finish cooking. I think the recipe is an adaptation of a BH&G's recipe.

This is a recipe that was going around in the 70's. I use 1 cup fresh seafood for each of the canned ingredients now, but I'm posting this as it is on my old recipe card. This is a base recipe, and very versatile. You can add seasonings, fresh herbs, sweet pickle relish, etc. I use tri- colored spiral pasta.

These hush puppies have a cake like consistency (not your little ball of dry cornmeal). This is my base recipe, but it can be altered to your own taste, such as less sugar and more jalapeño. The catfish recipe is my husband's, and is more of an ingredient than a recipe, but this is our most requested meal when we're having friends over, so I thought I'd add it. I usually also serve with french fries, onion rings and fried mushrooms. Not the most healthy meal in the world...but oh, so good.

These are a very tasty, dense and moist muffin...A breakfast in themselves. You can use Whole Grain Total cereal in place of the bran flakes. This recipe is from my best friend up in Erie, PA. My recipe card is dated 1986.

    Recipe #139239

These are the best ginger cookies I've had in along time. The balance of spices is perfect. From BH&G's. I used just a dash of pepper. The time doesn't include freezing time.

These are a family favorite...quick, easy and tasty. As always this is a base recipe. I mix this up by sometimes adding garlic, onion, and cheese. Feel free to experiment.

This recipe was born out of puppy boredom. Rascal loves Kim D's recipe #28099 but he wanted some variety so taking her lead I came up with this version. Now he has 2 favorite cookie recipes.

The starting point for this recipe is credited to CrystalA. Without her original recipe, I never could have come up with this one. This flavorful family favorite is comfort food at its best.

I devised this recipe, using Rotel Tomatoes, when I moved to Louisiana, and friends complained that my old recipe was too bland. You can use any strength Rotel you like, but keep in mind, the longer these are frozen the hotter they will get. I always have these in my freezer for unexpected company.

This is a basic hamburg, tomato goulash. It is very kid friendly.

This is simply wonderful and not too sweet. I adapted this from a BH&G recipe. You don't even have to get the mixer out for this one! It's best served warm.

    Recipe #152112

I put this together yesterday and cooked it today. We thought it turned out fantastic. You can adjust the cooking time depending on roast size and your own cooker recommendations. Time does not include marinating.

    Recipe #134604

This is marinated in beer and italian dressing, but cooked on the grill with apple juice.

This is DH's recipe. It is simple comfort food and is very versatile. You can use chicken quarters in place of chops or chicken broth in place of water. Feel free to experiment with different herbs. We never make this the same way twice. A side note: I would recommend using a bone in, fattier cut of pork and not loin chops in this recipe.

This is a recipe from my best friend Mary's dad. When my father tasted it, he said it was the closest to his mothers he's ever tasted! It's an old time country recipe... In memory of Jerry. Update: Since I posted this, I've modified the recipe...When I'm using canned pumpkin, to make the texture more like fresh pumpkin, I bake one sweet potato, mash and then add pumpkin to equal 3 cups.

This is a simple roast, seasoned with savory. I brown and bake this in my cast iron dutch oven. It makes great gravy and very tasty sandwiches. I want to thank SnoopyCooks for her suggestion to thicken the gravy with cornstarch, as I forgot that step.

    Recipe #161075

This recipe is from Weber. I really liked the combination of flavors.

This recipe comes from Kraft Food & Family. DH and his co-workers all gave it two thumbs up. It can be served warm or cold.
