Red apple adds color and punch to this tangy cole slaw. It is so light and refreshing compared to the heavy mayo cole slaws. Also has less sugar since it has the natural sugars of the apples. With a bit of pepper sauce it makes a fun, festive side to ribs, fish or chicken.

Faster than take-out, less expensive, and so easy!!! My husband came home from Costco with this large jar of PIneapple/Habenero Chutney. Very hot and very good, so I have tried it in numerous recipes, including fish. Always great. But, this recipe is for moist tangy meat balls on Ramen noodles. There must be an equivalent name for Asian-American, like Tex-Mex, but I don't know it. Let's just say this is not a real asian recipe, but an American-who-likes-Chinese-takeout and Asian foods in general.

This is my Auntie Ann's recipe. Her husband loved everything she made, but if he saw her preparing this cheesecake tears of joy appeared in his eyes. She gave me permission to post it here for her, but she refuses to look at the calorie and fat calculations over there in that "mean" nutritional info box. Avert your eyes from the chart and instead bring a few tears of joy to someone's eyes. If you're going to eat cheesecake you might as well go for the best.

This differs from other bloody bulls in that there is more "bull" in it. The ratio of tomato juice to beef boullion is 50/50. To give it that rustic cowboy feel, I add coarse black pepper and celery seeds. We like them without Vodka for breakfast, and call them "Kickin' Calves", so we don't add the vodka until making individual glasses, but you can add it all at once for a party. The hot pepper sauce may need to be adjusted for your personal tolerance for heat.

I see plenty of recipes for enchilada casseroles where people will do anything to avoid rolling them. These are rolled, but this is a recipe for easy clean-ups and no burned fingers. And, you end up with authentic, spicy enchiladas in no time at all. The directions are easier the second time you make them, LOL. So, don't avoid enchiladas because you think they are messy, I've found I can get the kitchen clean, table set, and salad made, while these are baking. You'll make it all look easy!!! .

I was paying the big bucks for this snack from BistroMD, and they are delicious and popular, but I knew they couldn't be that hard to make. They are great for a low fat, crunchy potato chip substitute. I am sure that you can substitute any Chex flavor for the oat cereal.

    Recipe #473812

If you like stir-fried rice you'll love this recipe, as it is faster and easier. I serve it weekly as a side to grilled fish or chicken. Kids and adults both love it as you can control the ingredients and spice level. It is great to make on busy week nights for busy families with crazy schedules, and gets a few vegetables down the kids.
