This is super fast great for a tummy rumbling snack, or time to go grocery shopping lunch, most of us already have these ingredients in the refrigerator. Cook time is only for 1. This is great for HUNGRY KIDS!!!!
I found this recipe at www.suite101.com, while searching for popsicle recipes for my boys, they really enjoyed these.
Everybody popsicle molds differs in size, so I can't calculate how much it will make.
My popsicle mold holds 1/3 of a cup, and I doubled this recipe and it gave me approximately 7 popsicles
Cook time DOES NOT reflect freezing
This came from Recipe Goldmine. We don't have a Jack in the box here-so I can't compare it, all I know is my DS's LOVED it.
I recieved a message from Melinda/re: this recipe.
This recipe belongs to Todd Wilbur (Top Secrets)
I wasn't aware of this when I posted this copycat years ago.
Corny eh? Well I don't know who had more laughs designing/eating this me, or my youngest DS. This is a combination of some of my DS favorite foods. Who says kids are not to play with their foods? Obviously not me! Gourmet Magazine here I come!!!!
Found this treasure in an OLD Maine cookbook.
I always asssumed when I heard Seafood was served with 'freshly drawn butter', it was plain melted butter. This is much less rich than butter. Lobster and clams are rich enough! I adore lobster and clams, but when it's dipped in butter, it adds to much richness for my stomach. This I did not have any problems with.
No idea how many this serves
These fried clams are nothing like the ones you find frozen in the supermarket, these are the real McCoy. I like to serve them with my KFC Coleslaw Recipe #110948, chips, or onion rings and french fries and of course tartar sauce is an absolute must! AYUH thats the truth.
Note:the cook time is 1-1/2minutes PER BATCH
This recipe came from QC. I am copying it just like the recipe stated-BUT---If I were you I would decrease the sugar by perhaps two teaspoons we found it VERY sugarey, I also cooked the onions in a little water covered for 5 min., until tender THAN I added the peas and coating and heated for a couple of minutes, the peas were not over done this way. Try it and see what you would recommend.
