If you adore artichokes, you should adore this CHEESY appetizer. This takes your next gathering to the sophisticated level. Great for special occasions, if you are having a large get together you will probably want to double this recipe, and keep it warm.
This came from Taste Of Home, Ground Beef Favorites(one of those monthly supermarket magazines). I also added cooked pasta, to make it even more heartier. Our kids really enjoyed this. Because it calls for bouillon cubes I omitted the salt listed, but that was our personal taste.
This makes such an elegant looking (and tasting) dish.
Allow an hour chilling for the crepe batter, crepes can be made up to 3 days ahead of time, just stack them between wax paper sheets, or white paper towels. Cool, than and place them in an airtight container.
These fried clams are nothing like the ones you find frozen in the supermarket, these are the real McCoy. I like to serve them with my KFC Coleslaw Recipe #110948, chips, or onion rings and french fries and of course tartar sauce is an absolute must! AYUH thats the truth.
Note:the cook time is 1-1/2minutes PER BATCH
I've made this many times and we all love it. From the Bisquick 2 Cookbook by Betty Crocker. This can be eaten warm or chilled, which makes it perfect for brown bag lunches. I have also doubled this and baked in a 13x9 pan and cooked it for the same length of time
This recipe remind me of fair fries. I fill a tiny spray bottle with vinegar so we can spray additional on our fries.GOOD!. This is an old recipe from Home Cooking. *Cook time does NOT include soaking time.
