This came from one of the newest cookbooks I just purchased, and thought many would benefit from this one. Cookbook called 'THE LOBSTER ROLL'. If you look closely to the first photo you can see air bubbles, the example of the clams purging themselves of excess sand. This far the best tasting clams that I have had. Hardly any grit at all, and sweet.

The recipe called for Stroganoff sauce mix, but the computer did not have such an ingredient listed, but when I made this I could not find Stroganoff, and used Hollandaise instead
This came from Taste Of Home, Ground Beef Favorites(one of those monthly supermarket magazines). I also added cooked pasta, to make it even more heartier. Our kids really enjoyed this. Because it calls for bouillon cubes I omitted the salt listed, but that was our personal taste.
TWANG!!!. To be honest my 6 year old didn't care for the gravy-too zippy for him, but my 11 yr. old, plus DH and myself really enjoyed it. So go easy with the gravy on the little ones. Recipe hails from...You guessed it The Best of Country Cooking 2005
Their is nothing really special about this recipe. Just good-plain comfort food. My eldest DS had two helpings, so that tells me something! This recipe is from Quick Cooking, I'm giving you their instructions on microwaving the potatoes, but I did mine on the stovetop. I also used brown gravy WITH onions, and cooked that directly in the same skillet as the ground beef, not separtely.
I haven't made this, but looks nice, a kid pleaser. Stagger the placement of the cheese on the second layer so it is not directly above the first layer. *The string cheese amount is 6 pieces (1 ounce each). The computer system did not want to add it in!
