We don't care for the traditional sloppy joes, too sweet for us. Trying to come up w/ideas for lunchboxes I came up with this. Packed hot meat mixture in hot thermos's, cut up burger rolls and put in plastic containers, they only had to pour it atop rolls and eat with a fork.

    Recipe #112998

Quick and flavorable, copied this from one of my moms magazines. Thumbs up recipe even for our picky 10 yr. old, his only complaint was he wanted a fork not a spoon packed in his lunchbox, or else he would have eaten it all!

    Recipe #112317

This is goooood, I even use the dressing as a zippy vegetable dip.

    Recipe #112199

Comes together in a flash, got this recipe from one of those little cookbooks sold in supermarkets

    Recipe #112187

I love this soup, but my husband cannot live without meat, and our boys love pasta, so I keep frozen cooked ground beef and pasta in the freezer and stir it into their bowls. Received this recipe from one of our old neighbors in Stetson, Me.

    Recipe #112188

When I was working full time as a dental assistant I used to layer this ahead of time and just pop it in the oven when I got home. Got this from a church cookbook a wedding gift when my husband and I were married in 1986.

    Recipe #112185

Mmmmm. Cheesy. This recipe came from a church cookbook we received for a wedding gift back in 1986.

    Recipe #112186

This is sooo good, artery clogging though. This originally called for raw bacon, but it took forever to cook, this came from some recipe site on the 'net. The instructions may sound confusing, and while making it you will be thinking 'what tha'. The outcome will be worth it, at least I hope you think so. When baked you are to slice them into individual sandwhiches. Bake time can differ due to the type of dough used

    Recipe #112183

A creamy good dish, unsure where I dug this up from, I've made this many, many times.

    Recipe #112184

This recipe remind me of fair fries. I fill a tiny spray bottle with vinegar so we can spray additional on our fries.GOOD!. This is an old recipe from Home Cooking. *Cook time does NOT include soaking time.

    Recipe #112172

Another winner in our house, one of our boys favorites. I think I got this recipe from Stove Top Stuffing years ago. I've used both cubed and minute steaks in the past, cubed steak can be a tad chewy and stringy for this, but more meatier than minute steaks.

    Recipe #112169

Another one of our families favorites, it's delicious. Cook time does not include marinating time. Try this you'll like it!

    Recipe #112167

Crunchy and tender, goes great with steak. Our boys like to eat them with their fingers dipped in ketchup (The potatoes dipped in ketchup-not their fingers!)

    Recipe #112168

My husband is mere putty in my hands when I make this! I make new recipes ALL THE TIME, and sometimes he forgets if he's had it before, but not this one. This has a nice light taste, fresh green beans and simple boiled red skinned potatoes would be a nice side dish.

    Recipe #111827

Comfort food, we all need it.

    Recipe #111824

This is really worth trying it's GOOD. I don't recommened any other cut of meat, only Flank.

    Recipe #111825

This is a very simple supper, good way to use leftover Holiday ham, this came from Crisco Cookbook. This is a 'soupy' version, not the pretty 'slice' type.

    Recipe #111721

We love this recipe, got it from the Crisco cookbook back in 1987?. Hope you enjoy it as much as us. I always serve it with scalloped potatoes and broccoli with cheese sauce-on of our comfort foods

    Recipe #111720

Yet another salad recipe! Don't recall where I came across recipe. I have had it for a long time and have made it countless times; it can easily be doubled.

    Recipe #111626

We love slopping up our med-rare eye round roast in this sauce, unknown origin.
