    Recipe #504726

I'm on a diet and I wanted use up some left overs in the freezer and make something that would fill me up. So why not make an original low cal chicken soup? So here's my chicken soup recipe. If you don't want to buy a bunch of different frozen vegetables just buy a quality mixed vegetable. It usually pretty close to the portions in this recipes. If you cook at a lower temperature add about 10 minutes to your cook time.

    Recipe #410104

I love this low calorie sloppy joes. While your making this check the heat in your pepper. If your pepper is too hot for your taste then cut the poblano pepper in half and substitute the rest with a small green pepper. Don't substitute canned corn; you need the firmness and full flavor of frozen corn.

Green peppers topped with melted cheddar cheese You can substitute low fat mozzarella cheese for cheddar. If you don't have pre-made bread crumbs use 3 pieces of wet de-crusted low carb bread, pulled apart and thoroughly mixed in the turkey. Using wet bread will create a juicier pepper so be careful when you cut into it.

    Recipe #152990

A white sauce base that can flavor to taste. As you've seen from my other recipes I like things simple, easy, and use common ingredients for a great taste. Sometimes I’ll add garlic powder, cream cheese and/or Parmesan cheese to make an alfredo sauce. Unfortunately I don’t have the exact measurements of the add-ins because I usually make the sauce to taste for the meal. I would recommend stirring in your extra ingredients very small amounts and let the sauce steep. The milk will hide the flavors of your extra ingredients at first and will take time to work through the mixture. For best results always use real butter or a butter blend that is at least half butter.

    Recipe #152895

This is a quick and simple recipe I came up with. We were in process of changing our kitchen over to a low carb kitchen so decided to pull this dish together. Some people add a 1/4 tbsp. of chili power to the chili. Others have added 1 tbsp of taco seasoning to the vegetable sauce to begin with. To make this recipe truly low carb substitute in vegetarian 'ground beef' for the red kidney beans.
