Flipping through some 1973 recipe cards, I just knew I could do better than what I was seeing, so here it is. Made it for dinner and was great! No magic for this, just follow along. You will need an electric mixer. Serve with a salad and desert or take to your next pot-luck. Enjoy!
Thick, creamy sauce with nice chunks of veggies and tender chicken all wraped up in a wonderful, warm smell when you walk thru the door at the end of a long day - it will make you smile (and it tastes wonderful, too).
I had to come up with something that would feed us late on a Saturday night, after being out all day, helping friends move. I used what was around and came up with this tasty, low calorie chicken. You may want to add more potatoes, cut in quarters. Serve with salad, easy and filling. Enjoy!
Someone brought this in to work and I thought I could copy it without a recipe, and did! Have never worked with marshmallows before, WOW (suggestions appreciated)!! Work fast, it's hot! Hint 1: Buy generic corn flakes at the $1 store! Hint 2: If the "berries" don't stick on the "holly", put the cold holly in the microwave for 20 sec. (on waxed paper) and then add the berries.
Grandma taught Mom how to make this and Mom had a tree to make as much as she wanted! Remember to peel and cut the figs under running water or the acid will hurt your hands. Totally excellent on buttered English Muffins!!
