High in vitamin C, omega 3s, and beta carotene this is a morning treat that won't steer you wrong. The overall flavor is a light citrusy flavor. At first I did half the banana and pineapple, but felt the celery was too prominent, so I added the other half of the pineapple. I make my own fat free greek yogurt, the recipe is on the site elsewhere. Note that the banana and pineapple were frozen. This way I didn't need to add ice cubes. You can always add half a cup of ice if you're using non-frozen fruit. Also, all fruit is fresh (fresh frozen) not canned. If you use canned, it retains its nutrients but try to avoid any additives.

    Recipe #478807

Use pumpkin or butternut squash for this moist delicious bread. A little extra ginger gives it a lovely kick.

    Recipe #478194

Sort of a "dump" recipe. I had leftover bananas and wanted to use, but didn't want all the unnecessary fat of most banana breads. I modified a low fat recipe to make it a little lighter. Had a small amount of granola, and some wonderful dried blueberries and tossed those in as well. A denser bread, but delicious.

    Recipe #477429

I've been making this for years and had it added to my Weight Watchers account. Figured I'd add it here too! Good flavor that's even better the next day. 1/8 of the dish comes to 4 current (2012) points.

    Recipe #472035

These are light and fluffy with an amazing flavor. In fact, they're so good that topping them in optional. Even better the next day, toasted in a toaster!

    Recipe #472013

    Recipe #468162

A more traditional tasting scone. Not overly sweet, but great taste. Serve with preserves and a GOOD cup of coffee.

    Recipe #467998

A hearty waffle that makes a great brunch or lunch. Serve with natural peanut butter and syrup, or just eat with a sprinkling of powdered sugar. Using Mickey shaped waffle maker, makes it taste just that much better!

    Recipe #467965

The combination and of the pears and cranberries play off each other well. This is an easy to make and share dish that just screams Fall.

    Recipe #467139

I love chili, and I love making variations on chili based on what comes in my CSA box, and what I'm in the mood for!

    Recipe #467048

Crepes are very simple to make, and there isn't a lot of difference in different recipes. However, in this one I used real Mexican vanilla and brown sugar, and it made a wonderful, light, slightly sweet crepe that was perfect with fresh fruit fillings, or dessert fillings.

    Recipe #467041

Crisps are so versatile! In this one, my pears and mango were so ripe and sweet, I opted not to add sugar to the fruit. Turned out PERFECTLY!

    Recipe #466411

I made this and put it over whole wheat and sweet potato gnocchi. It is satisfying, not too heavy on the curry (even my curry-hating husband liked it), and delicious.

    Recipe #465591

A smooth, custard based chocolate ice cream that is low in sugar, but high in satisfaction. I save the egg whites for egg white breakfast sandwiches.

    Recipe #465395

I was looking for pasta that had a light flavor, was low in fat, had lots of veggies, and would go well with my langostino shrimp I picked up. I used a variety of recipes to develop this on.

    Recipe #463455

Absolutely delicious mixture of tart and sweet. Great for end of the summer fruit, and so versatile you can add or subtract fruit based on your desires.

    Recipe #463238

Delicious if you use fresh, particularly fresh from the garden, vegetables and spices. Still good if you use things from the pantry.

    Recipe #463009

The easiest way to do this is to nuke the potatoes the night before so they're cool and easy to handle the next morning.

    Recipe #461882
