Got this recipe out of woman's world this week and dh wanted me to try it. It uses coconut oil which is suppose to be beneficial for your health. I doubled the recipe and got 17 jumbo muffins from it. This is not a real sweet muffin but it is tasty and we really enjoyed them.
I used fat free milk in the dairy isle not powdered milk.
Also you can eat on of these muffins for breakfast with a scrambled egg and also for a snack.
My grandma emma got me hooked on fried green tomatoes when I was really little. Now I make them for our family. You can add some cajun seasoning to the paprika and add more or less paprika as you wish.
Also I put cornmeal because it didn't recognize drakes fry mix. I use drakes and luv it, gives it a nice crispy tomato.
Got this recipe off a bottle of blueberry vodka and tastes like the blueberry popsicles but be careful it carries a punch.
I am also going to make some of this drink into ice cubes and add a few to this drink or if you would like a few frozen blueberries, mmm good.
I got this recipe from my sister in law and our teenager asks me to make it all the time so thought I would post it. You can add more or less of the cilantro, basil and oregano.
I serve with tortilla scoops or crackers.
I added chill time for prep time.
I got this recipe out of this month's simple and delicious and will be making it soon for the kids. You can use any vegetables you want and get set for the kids to get excited to eat their veggies.
You can also use veggie dip for them to dip the vegetables in.
Other veggies you can use, mini carrots, broccoli, grape tomatoes
Are your kids tired of the same ole sandwiches, make them a couple of sandwiches on a stick for their lunches and watch their eyes light up.
You can put whatever is your childs favorite veggie and lunchmeat, this is just to give everyone an idea.
DH got this recipe out of the paper and we made it for dinner and was a hit so thought I would share it. If you wanted you can use Italian sausage and any veggies you would like. We made two and they freeze well.
We used jimmy dean hot sausage and it gave it a nice kick!
The cook time is for the prep and for the bread dough to thaw.
I got this out of a magazine and am going to make it for thanksgiving but wanted to share it with you all. This is adorable and would make a cute centerpiece with cracker's and cheese!
I am going to make it with black olives, pimento and kalamata olives.. Prep time is a guess..
I got out this recipe out of the paper from a well known restaurant in our area. I made them tonight and the family loved them so decided to post the recipe!! Hope you enjoy them :) I added a few more spices as called for and played with it. I also warmed the corn tortillas before putting the meat in and frying them.
Time is for all the cooking and rest of steps! I also added a touch of garlic powder and onion powder with the other seasonings.
Next time I might also add cheddar or mexican cheese to some and see how that would taste too, Yummy :)
I make these and I changed the recipe a bit from the regular Bacon Chestnut Appetizers.. People will love these. Approximate number served depending on how many waterchestnuts you use. Enjoy!
You can use the 12-oz bottle and mix with the brown sugar too. It depends on how many cans of water chestnuts I use! :)
Got this out of quick cooking years ago and it is a really easy, fast tasting meal. Tastes like a pot pie :) Also you can sub turkey for chicken and I use already cooked cubed chicken and it's great on game days..
