I've grown to accept macaroni and cheese has alot of variety, and I like mine in various ways. Here is a basic recipe for it not using the velveeta so many others do. I also never understood the addition of eggs to mac & cheese. You won't find any of those in here also. Very simple and good if you just want a recipe to base your creation on.

I love Chinese take-out, and frequently try different recipes to make at home. Never quite making the grade usually. I have to say I fiddled with this one and I don't think I'll be ordering any more "egg foo young" from our local chinese joint. Don't be surprised on how good this is! It's my recipe but the ideas came from a cooking website speciallizing in Asian cuisine. If you have clam juice, or seafood stock or shrimp stock use it, chicken stock will do, and water if you have none. It will make a difference on the result in the taste of your "chinese omelets'." I have yet to master the gravy part the take-out kind, but I never eat it anyway. So I didn't include one here. If you like you can make your own gravy or use a store bought variety. But I don't think you will miss it much. Your option. I'm by no means biased against gravy.

Canned variety is so sweet and good when you might be "not so feelin' good", but this will make you feel a whole lot better anyday. I never thought I would revert myself out of canned tomato soup until one day I had all of these fresh tomatoes in the kitchen from stopping at the road-side stands in the hot summer. Fresh tomatoes in summer are the best for this in the summer. Canned tomatoes based on variety and region will have a factor on your results too. In the cold, blistery days here in WNY I need a good warm pick me up with a good and cheesy grilled sandwich. This recipe will use canned tomatoes since they are easier to purchase.

Great Stuff for you eggplant parm lovers! My own creation. The process takes awhile but worth the effort. Great with a loaf of hot garlic bread and a simple green salad.

Give the restaurant menu a break today, and make my version of General Tso's chicken at home. Save money and eat good!!!

    Recipe #498675

I have always liked potpies growing up because they were an easy way to get food into me when I was a busy 20's single girl. The store bought variety has since declined in taste, and amount, but increased in price. I have used all fresh ingredients in this homey favorite. You can make as many as you want and freeze before baking for those times you crave the store bought variety but want something just better.

Real simple, easy and good. I hope you enjoy this! When I searched this recipe, it came up as gluten-free. I would check with any packaged products you may be using or go completely package free and make with products that are fresh/and/or gluten-free.

    Recipe #448608

Needed a new way to season my chicken tonight and this was awesome. Hope you like it as well.

    Recipe #465948

My first attempt to make "carrot soup", and I was far from disappointed. It's totally sweet with no added sugars or sweeteners, but spicy from the ginger. Try and you will find yourself excuses at the store for buying 2 extra pounds of baby carrots. And it's cheap, fast, and comforting!
