Amazingly simple, I noticed this recipe in an issue of Edible Boston, a magazine that celebrates local foods and seasonal harvests for the Greater Boston area. The recipe is credited to Taxia Cullen.

    Recipe #189745

This is a recipe from the Simply Delicious column in Parade Magazine (2006). For optional garnishes, try a 1/4 cup of creme fraiche and/or snipped fresh chives.

    Recipe #189743

I found this recipe as a sample in a flyer I got to buy a cookbook. It's a great combination of flavors and is good served over rice. You can substitute margarine easily for the butter.

    Recipe #141478

This is a Kraft recipe that is delish & super easy!

    Recipe #137979

    Recipe #137073

This is a surprisingly easy recipe from the gourmands at Stonewall Kitchen. This recipe was published in Working Mother magazine.

    Recipe #135413

I found this recipe in Yankee Magazine. This soup makes wonderful use of leftover chicken and pasta. If you don't have either, begin the recipe by poaching 2 chicken breasts, then cook the pasta.

    Recipe #135299

This recipe is courtesy of Prevention Magazine

    Recipe #135267

This recipe is from Wyler's chicken bouillon.

    Recipe #134341

This is a Pillsbury recipe that an old roommate's mother introduced me to. These are, quite seriously, one of the most delicious (and horrible for you) desserts you will ever eat. They are really easy to make and so good that I have to bring them to an event to share or I will eat the ENTIRE pan! I can't believe no one has previously posted this one...

    Recipe #134309

A great recipe from the Boston Globe Magazine. They recommend removing the seeds with a paring knife before grating the zucchini. They also say that you can use any size zucchini for this loaf ("except the baseball-bat sized vegetables").

    Recipe #134291

This is from Saveur Magazine from a recent article they did about the cuisine of Nantucket. They say that it comes from Alice Ramos, a former neighbor of the cooks featured in the piece.

    Recipe #131184

Got this from Saveur Magazine. They say it's based on a recipe in Bruce Weinstein's "The Ice Cream Book".

    Recipe #131183

This is a very yummy recipe from Duncan Hines and is a great way to use up any leftover cranberry sauce after Thanksgiving!!

    Recipe #131066

I haven't tried this yet, but I found it in the April 2005 issue of InStyle Magazine. Many of their "party" recipes call for unusual ingredients or difficult techniques - this one doesn't & it sounds yummy!

    Recipe #124098

This is from InStyle's April 2005 issue. I haven't tried this yet, but I love risotto and this sounds so delicious! Neither preparation or cooking time was given in the recipe so I have guesstimated using my past experience with risotto.

    Recipe #124031

My mother has made this very simple soup for years. It's just delicious!

    Recipe #108417

This is a copycat recipe developed by Top Secret Recipes ( It's delicious & husband LOVES it and doesn't even know it's fat free! The trick is to chop the cabbage, carrot & onion into small, rice-sized bits if you want the texture of the original. I run all the veggies through the shredder of my food processor which does it in short order! *original* KFC cole slaw has 210 calories/10.5g of fat for the same size serving!!! ENJOY!
