Satisfying salad that will not disappoint and a nice change from regular same-old salad.

    Recipe #516680

For those on a diet or for those who want some health and enjoyability in life - this pie is not to disappoint. Good for diabetics. Note that traditional white sugar isn't added, but if you want to add sugar, make sure you add some flour as to thicken the juices.

These are simple to make and ever so delightful. When I'm pressed for time I put these together and they go well with any meal. The buttery-ness is a result of using miniature teeny-tiny potatoes that now can be found in most supermarkets. Finger potatoes are an example, but now there are various varieties in the markets. They turn out smooth and buttery by their own nature.

One of Wolfgang's Puck's recipes made with Alaskan King Salmon filets. Wild Salmon is best to use. If you live in the Pacific, Alaskan salmon would be affordable, but if you live on the Atlantic side of the country, Atlantic salmon would be more affordable (though wild is harder to find). Either way, using wild over farm-raised is preferred due to the superior taste.

From the CIA comes this tasty colorful salad that's packed with not only flavor but "healthiness".

The peppery taste of the watercress makes a great balance with the watermelon. Add the onions and the pine nuts and it tastes even better by giving it an added dimension. I enjoyed this salad recently and thought I'd share it here. The best thing about this salad is that the watermelon fills you up and you don't feel hungry after. I'll be making this often especially now (June) and through late August when watermelons are at their best and available without breaking the bank.

    Recipe #516425

Since I can remember my mom made this dish. It was one of our favorites and both my sister and I continue to make it for our family. Best thing is that it is quick and easy as can be to prepare. It can be served as a side dish for meat, fish or on its own. Note that the tomatoes are meant to be the star of the dish not the eggs. Hope you enjoy it too.

    Recipe #516362

The Old Inn on the Green in Marlborough, Massachusetts makes this delicious variation on pecan pie that has a puff pastry crust and a crunchy rum-scented filling. It is glazed with apricot and dusted with confectioners sugar. I've provided directions on how to blind bake pastry crust. It is long and packed with detail, but don't let it scare you. It's pretty easy to make, but figured that the detail is needed for those who haven't blind baked pastry before.

Blackie's House of Beef has been a part of the Washington restaurant scene for decades, and this prime rib recipe is one of their popular choices. Source: Great Chef's of the East

    Recipe #516246

Every summer I grill vegetables in a grill basket with the ingredients listed which I've developed. It beats plain grilled veggies as these flavors are pumped-up, delicious, healthy and makes a great accompaniment to grilled meats or fish. If you don't have a grill basket, the veggies can be skewered instead (I would recommend buying a grill basket because it makes it so easy). Note that nutritional value listed isn't correct because it is counting full measure of marinate ingredients. The marinate ingredients are mostly cooked off during grilling.

Beignets are SOO delightful and fun to eat. No wonder they are popular in New Orleans. Make these for Fat Tuesday and it'll transport you to Louisiana. These are light and airy and made from a puff pasty dough which is the traditional dough used in New Orleans. Enjoy! Note that the totals within Nutritional information is not correct. It is taking into account the full measure of oil which the beignets are fried in. It also takes the 2 cups of Creme Anglaise (Vanilla Sauce) into account. Depending on how much you like Vanilla Sauce, you may not use all of the measure.

Love carrot cake and bet these are good. From Womans Day 2013. Placing it here for safe keeping.

    Recipe #516181

Morroccan inspired salad that is very tasty. The natural sweetness of the carrots blend really well with the other ingredients. Note that 2 hours refrigeration time is included in the Prep. Time.

    Recipe #516129

Not only healthy but delicious and a great accompaniment for a main meal or for your holiday table. I also love eating this on it's own as a light lunch in which case I sometimes omit the butter (good without it too).

    Recipe #516127

Beautifully vibrant looking salad that is also delicious and good for you. As this salad sits the flavors permeate throughout. I use this as a side dish but I have been known to top it over a bed of baby spinach leaves for an enjoyable lunch.

    Recipe #515665

I love tropical flavors (especially passion fruit and coconut) and I've been courting this particular pie for a while. Haupia has a very pleasant flavor. Haupia is very popular in Hawaii (pudding made with coconut milk or coconut cream and cornstarch) and is well used in many desserts.

    Recipe #515661

This bread is a great way to use up an over abundance of zucchini in your garden. Wonderful with a smearing of cream cheese for a breakfast treat or anytime treat.

    Recipe #515657

These are a great addition to any cookie jar. They have crackled tops and ever so yummy!

    Recipe #515649

These are simple, unpretentious and my tried and true peanut butter cookies that I've been making from the beginning of time. They easy and lickety-split they're done before you know it.

    Recipe #515604

Terrific as a snack, appetizer, side to a crisp salad, and especially good dipped into a good quality extra virgin olive oil (either plain or flavored with herbs and hot red pepper flakes). Also makes a great addition for a potluck or party. The cooking time includes the rising of the bread. The aroma when it is in the oven is terrific! Cookbook source: Parties!
