    Apple Pie Milkshake
    Handle

OMG this milkshake is made with a slice of apple pie! Saw this tonight on t.v.-- as made at the famous Lakeview Restaurant est. 1935, in Toronto, Canada. A great use for that leftover slice of apple pie (or you can bake a pie, just for this shake!). Enjoy!! :)

    Best Ever Sloppy Joes
    Handle

This is our family favorite sloppy joes! Tangy, sweet and spicy with a great balance of flavors plus this is a quick 'n easy one dish meal--perfect for those busy weeknight meals. Made with a few extra veggies sneaked in, plus my own easy sassy homemade bbq sauce. YUM! Serve hot on a warmed hamburger bun with or without shredded cheese. I like to make a double batch, one for now and one for later because leftovers are super fabulous the next day (and it freezes beautifully, as well). Hope you enjoy as much as we do!! :)

This is a great dip/spread to serve warm or at room temp with buttery crackers (such as Townhouse or Ritz) or a good bread as an appetizer/snack at your next Super Bowl Party or anytime. Delicious! Great make-ahead dish, the flavors develop after several hours in the fridge (Chef John recommends at least four hours in the fridge), but best tasting warm or at room temperature so take out of fridge an hour before serving. Hugo - Champagne Aperitif With Elderflower and Mint
    Handle

This drink sounds delicious! The Hugo is a new summer drink (would make a nice appetizer before a meal as well), originating in the South Tyrol region of Northern Italy, and is now popular all over Europe. Found on My German Kitchen in the Rockies. Serve a virgin Hugo, called a Heinrich, by substituting sparkling mineral water for the champagne. A Kurti is made by using basil leaves in place of the mint leaves. Find elderflower syrup at your local IKEA or online. Adjust the sweetness of your drink with the addition/reduction of the elderberry flower syrup.

These cute heart-shaped sugar cubes are so easy to make! Even the kids can help. I think they would be fun for parties, especially tea parties or to offer to guests with coffee after dinner. The silicone ice trays come in every imaginable shape, so make your sugar cubes in whatever shape or motif you wish. Imagine making them in Orange for Halloween, Red for Valentine’s Day. White would be beautiful for a bridal shower. Pink and lavender is pretty for Easter and Mother’s Day. Honeyed Tahini Butter-Spread-Dip
    Handle

Here's a simply delicious smooth and creamy sesame honey spread for your toast, or for dipping (try pita bread chunks, dates or banana slices). Ingredient quantities are estimates, adjust to your tastes. Inspired by breakfast at Café Shosh (the old one, on Rechov Ha-Palmach) in Jerusalem, where on a single plate you’d get eggs made to order, chopped tomato & cucumber salad, yogurt, toast, jam, and a lovely honeyed tahini spread. From Sweet Amandine. Enjoy! Per Wikipedia: Tahini is an excellent source of copper, manganese and the amino acid methionine, and a source of the healthy fatty acids omega-3 and omega-6. Tahini's relatively high levels of calcium and protein make it a useful addition to vegetarian and vegan diets, as well as to raw food diets when eaten in its unroasted form. Tahini made from raw sesame seeds is lower in fat than tahini made from roasted seeds. Compared to peanut butter, tahini has higher levels of fiber and calcium and lower levels of sugar and saturated fats.
