This is a wonderful, creamy and rich banana cream pie. Make sure you chill it for several hours, it's much better cold (if you can wait that long)! Prep time includes time for chilling.

    Recipe #210634

I got this recipe from an online friend, and they sound delish, so I thought I'd save them here! Let me know what you think!

    Recipe #213930

I created this recipe one year when I needed to serve 75 fourth graders at their annual Valentine's Dance. It was a huge success with the kids. See if your picky eaters will enjoy it! I serve it over rice.

    Recipe #212023

The title says it all. If you are planning a BBQ, this is the coleslaw to take! There are many coleslaw recipes on food.com, but none just like this, and this is by far our favorite! From Southern Living Favorites, Spring 2004. Cooking time includes chilling time.

    Recipe #188823

This is the salsa we put up each year. We learned early on (the hard way) that you should wear gloves when you're cutting up the peppers. You can leave out the cilantro, but we really like it.

    Recipe #212019

A beautiful cake that is very yummy. Everyone will marvel over your creation when you show up with this cake. I served this at our 2006 Cookie Swap and it was a huge hit. From The Pampered Chef's All The Best Cookbook. Cooking time includes time for cake to cool and chill.

    Recipe #201843

This icing is perfect for red velvet cakes, chocolate cakes, carrot cakes and all sorts of choices in between. I like to make cupcakes for the kids and mound this on top. They don't complain either.

    Recipe #210609

Haven't seen this on the zaar yet, I found it on the web years ago when I was on a low-carb diet. I've tweaked it here and there and changed it along the years. This is a frequent request for pitch-ins and get togethers!

    Recipe #133439

There's no reason for your bread machine to be limited to just bread! Dust it off and break it out to make this delicious, moist meatloaf. You'll need to use the quick bread or cake cycle. Directions for cooking this in the oven are included as well.

    Recipe #204123

Taken from the 2006 Better Homes and Gardens Christmas Cookies Magazine. Bocca di Nonna means "Grandmother's Kisses" in Italian, a variation of Bocca di Dama (Lady's Kisses). I really want to try these!

    Recipe #258232

There is no substitute for real homemade soup, or is there? As it turns out, this is a fast, easy and super tasty bowl of soup. I came up with this idea when I decided to "change up" my regular 20 minute potato soup - we were very happy with the results. Our D&D group devours this stuff! You can use milder sausage if you like, but the hot stuff sure makes it pop!

    Recipe #205065

I love soup, and potato is definitely way up there on my list of favorites. Nothing really beats my homemade soups, but this is a very tasty and great alternative when you are short on time and want something hot, filling and comforting. I serve this with rolls, or sometimes with turkey club sandwiches.

    Recipe #205061

This is a great addition to any mexican dinner. I modified this recipe (from coo-books.com) out of a need for a fast, easy and make ahead accompaniment for a mexican meal. If you add chopped, cooked chicken it would be a wonderful main dish!

    Recipe #104995

These are hands down the best cookie I have ever eaten (and I've eaten a LOT of cookies!). How can you go wrong with three types of chocolate and coffee? These make a fudgy-brownie type cookie with amazing results. The original recipe called for finely chopped espresso beans, but I tweaked this by using instant coffee for ease and flavor. Try these, I promise you will LOVE them!

    Recipe #203265

This is our everyday bread that we use for sandwiches and toast. It's dairy and egg free which makes it a favorite of mine - this also makes it safe to use the bread machine timer. This recipe makes a 2 pound loaf, but you can easily halve it for smaller machines.

    Recipe #210212

Lots of cocoa mixes on Zaar, but this is the one my family likes. I make a batch of this in October right before the leaves fall and keep it on hand the rest of the fall and winter. Sometimes for a gift I will buy mugs and put individually wrapped servings of the mix in a pretty bag. I place the bag and a swizzle stick inside the mugs with a tag tied to the handle with directions printed on how to make the cocoa. I'm estimating the servings.

    Recipe #211155

These are amazing giant cookies that are chock full of everything good - almonds, pecans, chocolate chips and raisins. My dh, who can't stand raisins, couldn't keep his hands off of these cookies. Don't chop your pecan halves and leave the almonds in larger pieces as well. You're going to love these!

    Recipe #204125

This cooks up to make a pizza "crust" and is quite tasty. Be sure and watch your crock pot the first time you make this, as the cheese can burn quite easily. You can change this if you want; add your favorite combination of pizza ingredients, or just stick to the list here - it's great as written!

    Recipe #201976

These great muffins are a perfect addition to traditional or white chicken chili. I originally created this recipe to go along with a traditional mexican dinner.

    Recipe #104985

This is the stuff I grew up on; beans, ham and lots of flavor. Serve it with cornbread and it makes the perfect winter soup.
