I seen this on Paula Deen's Paula's Home Cooking and have been making this one ever since! Makes a great cake for Christmas or Valentine's Day! Very pretty cake too; I take the coconut and pecans and press only into the sides of the cake ( I make it as a round two layer cake), makes for a very pretty presentation!!!
My grandmothers (Mammaw) recipe! This icing is SOOOO good! Great for a birthday cake! It has vanilla and almond flavoring in it which gives it a nice, different flavor! Everyone that has this LOVES it!
These are awsome! They have no flour in them; the oats work as it, so there is no need for it. Makes a ton of cookies, and you can put pretty much anything you want in them, hence the name Monster! These cookies don't last long at my house!!!
I saw this one on Paula Deen. I was skeptical at first, because it has no flour! I made it anyway, and it sure has been a life saver! My grandpa developed Diabetes and he loves my Peanut Butter Cookie Pie (Recipe #444359). Now I can use this cookie recipe and use sugar free and/or low sugar other ingredients and still make this for him!
My grandmother ( I call her Nanny) makes this at Christmas time and everyone LOVES it! This fudge is more the crumbly type than the soft gooey type. We all like it like that. I think it has to do with the amount of time you boil the milk and sugar. The best part of this recipe is it has minimal ingredients and is simple to make! Hope you enjoy!!!
This cake is sooo good! It looks like a giant oreo cookie when finished! The cream cheese oreo filling in the middle of the two chocolate cakes is to die for! It is so pretty if you garnish it on top with a big dollup of cool whip in the middle, stick a whole cookie on top of that, then crunch up some cookies to sprinkle all over! Very nice dessert to take to any kind of family gathering or event!
