Saw this recipe on the Jamie Deen Show. We were having a Mexican/Spanish dinner and I thought I would make it. It turned out great. It tasted very similar to the Gazpacho we had in Spain years ago.It was very good and everyone liked it. I am counting chill time as cook time.
I saw this on Trisha's Southern cooking, they are decadent. Almost like eating a candy bar. I am going to try to freeze some and see how they turn out, and did I say they are quick and easy. Couldn't believe how easy they were to make.
This recipe came from my grandmother to my mother and me. I always had a hard time finding the finely ground poppy seed that looks black. The stores here have poppy seed but it is not finely ground and it is grey in color. I even tried to re grind it in the food processor to no avail. I decided to try the Solo brand poppy seed. It worked out wonderful and I didn't have to cook it. I also use the frozen rolls instead of baking the braided bread. It tastes the same
Saw this recipe on Pioneer Woman. I hope I live long enough to make all these recipes that I want to make. I am counting the thawing time with the prep time. You can also use 2 loaves of frozen bread instead of the frozen dinner rolls
I use a 1 3/4 pound of flat iron steak. I cooked it on for 4 minutes on each side and it came out rare. I do like my steak rare. My sister thought it was good but much better the next day, since it was medium rare after heating up. This is an easy recipe to make, however, next time I will add a little corn starch to the sauce to thicken it up a bit.
I saw this on The Food Network by Pioneer Woman. Thought it looked good. I made this yesterday and I only used 1 can of diced chillies. I used mild enchilada sauce and mild chillies. This was very tasty.
i was watching a friends grandson and saw this recipe in a flyer on her table. I copied it on a napkin and thought I would post it here for safe keeping. I plan on making this for Christmas morning. I think this was be wonderful on good raisin bread toast. I counted the freezing time as cooking time. I made this butter for Christmas morning. This is so good. I plan on making a Cranberry, Orange, Nut bread to go with it.
We have always made this meatloaf as long as I can remember. When I tell people that we don't use fillers they always ask if it falls apart. It does not. You have to let it rest for 5 to 10 minutes before cutting. Sometimes I put in cheddar cheese.
We always made this to go with chicken pakrikash. It is very easy and it does taste good. We never had a recipe but I just measured the ingredients i used the last time I made the dumplings. I have my mother's dumpling maker. You can also use the back of a spoon (we used to use a tablespoon), Place the dough on a dinner plate, dip the back of the spoon in boiling water and push the dough in the boiling water. Keep dipping the spoon in boiling water as the spoon cools.
