My grandmother has made these cookies every Christmas since I can remember. She would always have empty coffee cans filled with these goodies for everyone to dip into when they came over. I had to add her recipe to my file so I can keep the tradition going here with my family. My favorite way to make them is to dip them in melted chocolate after they bake and cool, then dip them in sprinkles.
So very good and very filling. This another family cookbook favorite. Could make this once a week and be extremely happy. Of course all of these I post on here are favorites to the whole family. When you have young ones in the house, good recipes are keepers.
These pizzas are very family friendly. I use the small tortillas for the kids to make their very own individual pizzas, and large ones for me and my hubby to come up with our own creative masterpieces. My favorite is with sundried tomatoes, marinated artichoke, black olives and smoked provolone cheese.:-)Enjoy!!
This is the recipe I always go back to time and time again. I always make a huge batch up for gatherings and keep them in the crockpot on warm. If you like your wings with less of a bite, cut back the cayenne to 1/2 to 1 tsp. The trick with these is to make sure they are nice and crispy. Enjoy!
I love this recipe because it is SO simple and couldn't taste better. It is full of flavor and so moist. I bake this Banana Bread with and without nuts. The trick to a great moist bread is to wrap it with foil while still slightly warm. Thanks to my dearest friend for this wonderful recipe!
I can honestly say I will never ever make another kind of grilled hamburger. These are wonderful. I found this recipe online a few years back and make them as often as I can. The ingredients sound a little strange because of the sour cream, but I think that's what makes them so good. Make sure to keep the patties well chilled until ready for the grill. I generally double or even triple this recipe for company. *NOTE: Make sure these burgers are chilled very well, otherwise they will fall apart on the grill.
I love this version of chili and so do my kids.My husband prefers it a bit more spicy than what I have here, but I try to suite the kids taste buds. So, if you want your chili a bit hotter, just add a little more cayenne or maybe a can of rotel to the mix.
I really enjoy making this recipe and I always make an extra pan to give to neighbors. I have had many recipe request. There's plenty of room to play with this one. You could very well use one of your very own sauce recipes, or change the beef up for Italian sausage. Add mushrooms and bell pepper for a little twist. Hope you enjoy!!
