    I had search online for a recipe for chicken lasagna that used a white sauce instead of the traditional marinara sauce. I could not find what I wanted, so I winged it!!!! It was a great success and this recipe is easily adjusted to dinner for 1,2,3, or more... this recipe was for 3, in an 8 x 8 baking dish.

    I thought of this after having some left over hot dog buns that I did not want to throw away. Once fixed, pairs well with spaghetti, lasagna, or you can even melt cheese on top and make your own cheese bread. I call it "faux" because the shape of the buns look like bread sticks, and cheaper than buying them in the store. Plus you can make them out of wheat buns. I used 4 buns with this recipe. Made 8 bread sticks. You can make more garlic butter depending on how many bread sticks you need.

I came up with this on my own as an easy put together meal with ingredients that you have right in your home...Baking this in a glass dish allows you to see the juices bubbling as it cooks and the gravy thickens.
