I love this Chicken salad, I usually make it in the fall when there are lots of fresh apples.

    Recipe #158126

This is a great way to serve cornbread as a side dish. I use whole sage leaves from my herb garden and it looks so pretty when you turn the cornbread out onto the plate.( I use buttermilk self rising cornmeal.)

    Recipe #155311

I love omelets but hate making them one at a time because I am at the stove while everyone is eating breakfast, then I end up eating after everyone is done. This solves that.

    Recipe #155256

I love nuts and dates and cherries, this is my kind of cake, just enough sugar and flour to call it a cake.

    Recipe #155253

Now this is a cheese ball! You can thin the mixture with milk or Kaluha , to make it more of a dip instead of a ball.

    Recipe #152881

This could be breakfast! Very good. I usually double the recipe to use a whole 6 oz frozen orange juice.

    Recipe #152733

I have been making this a long time. It can't be beat. Yummy and so good for you. When I was on weight watchers I lived on this. You can put in whatever vegetables you have in the fridge, and add whatever canned ones you like. This is my basic recipe. You can use what ever vegetables you like. I like to add a little Cajun spice to my bowl.

    Recipe #130709

I have been making boiled peanuts like the ones I get at the boathouses in FL. I was told to use raw peanuts, which is hard to find in Ohio. On my last trip to Florida, they told me to use regular peanuts. I did and they turned out fine. I also tried it with dry roasted peanuts and it did not work.

    Recipe #130607

I have made several batches of runny jelly, I need specific instructions, finally I did it and I am entering it before I forget it. Jelly without pectin is so much better in flavor, I know the pectin has no flavor, but it never taste like Grandmas. (Use 3/4-1 cup sugar per 1 cup of berry juice. Use 3/4 cup of water per 4 cups of berries. )

    Recipe #130606

When I first fixed dinner for my father in law, he put this in his mouth and just sit there, I had no idea, I thought he wanted to spit it out, but once he swallowed it, he said he loved it and just wanted to hold it in his mouth. This was his very favorite, and everyone loves this. The cream cheese layer is sometimes hard to spread, I use the back of a large spoon and run cold water over it. Prep time includes 4 hours in the fridge before serving.

    Recipe #122260

These are simular to Gooey Bars. I love these.

    Recipe #122169

There are several honey butters already in Zaar, but mine is without added sugar and is more honey than butter. My family loves this.

    Recipe #122164

I remember grandma making jelly and preserves, hers were the very best, she never used pectin and the flavor was wonderful. I haven't tried this yet myself, but I plan to soon. I hope to make some with Splenda. I will post my notes when done.

    Recipe #121939

Heavenly, I can not find a good milkshake out any more, so I make my own, just the way I like them.

    Recipe #121888

Yum, it doesn't get any better than this. My very favorite cheesecake.

    Recipe #121785

I love this salad. The first time I made it the onion was a little too much, so next time I did not add the whole onion-I only used half. Or for a shortcut you could buy your favorite brand of Poppyseed dressing.

    Recipe #121781

My favorite, you will need to add only half and then do the other half to keep from running the blender over.

    Recipe #121703

I love meatball in my favorite bbq sauce, they make great sandwiches topped with mozzarella cheese.

    Recipe #121690

I love funnel cakes plain with powdered sugar. I like them topped with fresh strawberries too! I got this from Southern Living magazine years and years ago.

    Recipe #121687

I lost my recipe for a while and tried serveral others, but no comparison to this one. My dh favorite. A must a Thanksgiving.
