OK, I'm going to tell you how I like my beans, my whole family eats them this way, but it grosses out my husband. Plate of beans and a big slice of cornbread and a big spoon of mayonaise, yummy...I think its a Kentucky thing...
My husband loves this and I like the spicy flavor.
You may want to add less serrano chili peppers if you don't want that firery feeling. You can use 1 can of chopped green chiles instead of peppers and it will not be as hot.
My sisiter-in-law Carol is the best cook I have ever met. This is one of the dips she serves at her yearly derby party. She serves it with crackers but you can also make finger sandwiches or use as a stuffing for celery.
