Great cake with dates and nuts.
Found in an old Woman's Circle cook book and made many times over the years.
A very old recipe that has become yellowed with age so thought I would post it here so it doesn't get lost forever.
I've used other cheese than Gruyere in it and it works great.

This is a Betty Crocker recipe.
Stove top cooking at it's best. Very tasty and filling, almost like a veggie stew served with the steak. I think this would work an many different kinds of meats. I got this out of a magazine many years ago.
