    If you read my "About Me" page, you'll see I don't buy salad dressing, I make my own. This is one of my favorite dressings. sometimes I switch around some spices and herbs, but this is the basic recipe. Notice there is NO OIL. Why? because you don't need it! This is HOT! If you want to make this a gift for a hot sauce fan, use an empty bottle and print your own lable.

    Ok... depending on where you live or your ability to read German, this might be a bit of a challenge. I use a brand of tea called "Milford"..... which is a GERMAN brand LOL! For this recipe, you will need "Blutorange" (blood orange). GermanDeli .com or sells them or if you can read german, go to "" and click on the word "shipping". From there you can change the language to English. It IS WORTH THE EFFORT if you can get this brand. I'm a tea-aholic and spend a lot of time in the "tea aisle" of grocery stores around the USA and in other countries (it's my favorite aisle), and I've never seen THIS flavor in the USA. Actually, I've never seen most of "Milford"'s delicious flavors anywere, which is why I've got 50 boxes of their tea in my kitchen. They are all fruit or fruit-blends, like blueberry-vanilla, Apricot, they have an incredible berry blend, and 5 other flavors, there's a lot! They almost have the entire tea aisle to themselves in Germany! When these teas cool off and you remove the bags and put them in the refrigerator, they taste like juice! Incredible! Delish as a hot tea, and Delish as a juice substitute.

    Another forbidden dish for me. But I found a way around it. Using my recipe for "Forget Mashed potatos, Save your heart & save your life, make this instead" which is Mashed Cauliflower and Broccoli, I substituted the that recipe instead of using starchy- not good for you mashed potatoes. Instead of artery clogging sausage, I used a leaner, vegan sausage from Morningstar Farms. Topped with a very light onion gravy, it's hard to believe this isn't the real thing. Plus, the 'Mashed Cauliflower and Broccoli" is LOADED with vitamins and antioxidants.PLEASE NOTE: NUTRITION CALCULATOR ON THIS RECIPE IS VERY WRONG! 5 MORNINGSTAR FARMS VEGAN SAUSAGES=300 CALORIES 62.5 CALORIES FROM FAT.

    Wanna know the secret? The reason my version of Spicy Pad Thai has almost no calories (so you can eat the whole thing and not feel bad) is because the noodle have: ZERO CALORIES, ZERO CARBS, ZERO FAT and ZERO SUGAR. HOW?! You may ask..... well, that's because we'll be using a majic noodle called "SHIRATAKI" available at Asian food stores or on line. This noodle will change your life!

    Here's an interesting fact: a potato is less nutritious when you mash it! even without adding a thing to it -just the process of mashing it and eating it - turns it into PURE SUGAR, by eating the potato WHOLE (not mashing it) the body has to work really hard to mash that potato in your stomach. My making mash potatos is like taking anti-biotics when you don't need them: you're artificially altering something that YOUR BODY is supposed to be doing itself. ANYWAY.... Mashed potatos are BAD NEWS PEOPLE! BAD, BAD NEWS! Spikes your insulin level and that's assuming you haven't added poison like butter, sour cream and bacon! The you're REALLY talking trouble. So, I know! I know! You don't want to live your live eating "salad" for every meal. You want to still have your favorites; ME TOO! And lucky you! I found a few ways to CHEAT DEATH and ENJOY YOUR FAVORITE DISHES TOO!!!! This is my secret recipe for "MASHED CALIFLOWER & BROCCOLI" You CAN make this with just cauliflower if you really want it to look like Mashed Potatos. If you're going to do that, then just replace the head of broccoli with a 2nd head of cauliflower. Boom, done, easy. The reason I chose to add broccoli to this is because of the POWERFUL ANTI-CANCER properties broccoli has (and Garlic!) However, if you use the broccoli, yes, this will have a green- hue to it, LOL! (Taste Fantastic though!) I like this recipe like I used to like my mashed pototo: CHUNKY. But, when you are making this, because it's not a potato - go a head and make this as sooth as you want - the nutritional quality of cauliflower and broccoli will not be ruined! Oh, if you MUST (and PLEASE TRY TO RESIST) add a little bit of rice/soy/fat-free milk. LOOK AT THE NUTRITION LABLE FOR THIS RECIPE ===> Please don't ruin this by adding the following poisons: Butter/Sour cream/Bacon/Cheese unless you're going to add it S-P-A-R-I-N-G-L-Y I'd rather you use a garlic flavored olive oil instead.

    Love Spicy. Love Cheese. Currently a vegan, so I'm made some adjustments to create: "Hot & Spicy, Low Carb, Vegan Mac & Cheese" PLEASE NOTE: this is NOT going to be "creamy and smooth" like full-fat, artery clogging mac & cheese. But, it tastes just as good even if it is firm. Eat it while hot because once it cools... it sticks together. I'm sorry, but I'd rather eat this, have the taste and it not be creamy, than have creamy mac & cheese for 10 mintues and my chest cut open for a heart by-pass surgery that takes 16 hours. ALSO NOTE: If you are not a vegan, please only use FAT-FREE real cheese or AS LOW-FAT as you can get. DO NOT USE FLOUR, BUTTER OR MILK or any other saturated fat in this recipe for ANY REASON, PLEASE :-) Thank you! :-)

    Oh how I do love Shepherd's pie. But the traditional recipe is loaded with FAT and CARBS and CALORIES :-( This recipe is not only eliminated the carbs, fat and A LOT of the calories..... but that bad stuff has been replaced by the nutrient dense potato subtitute of "Cauliflower & Broccoli Puree" or "Mashed Cauliflower & Broccoli" which is just mashing up Cauliflower & Broccoli and some roasted garlic for extra heart-healthy benefits AND tasty flavor. Yes, I know it's not the "100% traditional recipe" but again I ask.... is 5 minutes of pleasure worth suffering the rest of your life over? If not, give this a try. I've had hard-core meat lovers and health-haters tell me it's fantastic..... then I tell them how I made it and they're so shocked that something so healthy tastes like it should be bad for them. Use this with "Lightlife" veggie crumbs and this will be 100% FAT FREE and even lower in calories than what is posted here.

    Spicy Tuna salad You're only using 1 tablespoon on mayo for the WHOLE thing! The rest of this salad is packed with veggie and spicy stuff that will improve your circulation (good for you) Don't eat that deli crap any more! Make your own and go very, very easy on the mayo - remember whatever you put in your mouth will end up sticking to the inside of your arteries!

    As you know REAL chicken pot pie is one of the absolute WORST foods you could EVER, ever eat. It's loaded with artery clogging Fat, and sooooo many calories - and it doesn't matter which frozen brand you buy - they're all just as bad. BUT - THIS RECIPE FOLKS IS THE SOLUTION! Yes - you can have your cake and eat it too. (or in this cake your pot pie) This recipe is SO LEAN, SO LOW IN CALORIES, but HIGH in VITAMINS, FLAVOR, FIBER, PROTEIN - you will NOT believe it's good for you. AND..... It tastes 1,000 times better than the heart-attack frozen versions in the freezer section. WHY THIS WORKS: I took out butter, cream, milk, and the horrible "All Purpose Flour" which is all basically poison. Sure, you might think those all taste great, but is 5 minutes of taste worth a 16 hour heart-bypass surgery? Why have the worry, and bad health when you can make this which tastes just as good and comes without the huge scar on your breast-bone. Oh, did I mention your jeans will still fit with this version too?
