I have been making this for years, and people always request the recipe. It's easy to make, and perfect for holiday gift-giving. The heat depends on what kind of peppers you use, I love to throw a mix of chili peppers and get the nice heat at the back end when you eat it. Enjoy!

    Recipe #506686

I checked all the other recipes here, and each one is a little different in one way or another. THIS is the real deal. I got the recipe from the chef at the Watergate Hotel in Washington, DC where the recipe originated. If you want the same one served there that was made famous there....this is it.

    Recipe #120800

I fix this every Christmas. It's not just for special occasions, because it tastes so good you'll want it anytime. Easy to fix, delicious to eat. I cannot remember where the recipe originated, but I found it in a newspaper long ago. My clipping got so frayed that I typed it up so that I wouldn't lose it forever.

    Recipe #118933

A German lady fixed this for me many years ago and I've been duplicating it ever since. I love it!

    Recipe #118931

During the winter when fresh beets are not available, this is what I make. You can use beets out of the garden, just cook them, peel and slice them and reserve some of the juice that you cook them in. I love the way these taste. And they will keep in an airtight container in the 'fridge for quite a while.

    Recipe #118927

They don't call them "roasting ears" for nothing. Forget everything you've been told about roasting corn on the cob, this is the easy and fool-proof way to roast that perfect ear. You should use a good charcoal grill (not gas) for the best flavor, the kettle kind is best. The husks and silks will come off with ease when the corn is cooled. Trust me, do NOT remove the husks and stuff butter or other junk in there, let nature do it's thing on the hot grill.

    Recipe #118383

I first tried a salad like this in a restaurant. I think my homemade version is much better. Hat's off to Luby for the outstanding recipe for Blue Cheese Dressing which is the only one I will eat now. I copied the recipe verbatim, and included all steps in making the dressing straight from Luby's recipe, #55514. This is my favorite salad in the summertime, reminds me of a BLT without the bread.

    Recipe #115216

WOW is this good! I found this recipe in an old cheesecake cookbook called "Cheesecake Madness" that I had purchased at a church rummage sale. I don't know why someone didn't want a book with a recipe this delicious in it. It is nice and thick, melts in your mouth, and forget about dieting...this cheesecake is chock full of diet-wrecking temptations!

    Recipe #114944

I have tried several of the highly rated recipes here at Recipezaar but so far nothing has beaten the taste and texture of my late grandmother's recipe for deviled eggs. I hope you'll try these and see if you don't love them as much as I do. *Be sure to boil your eggs for a full 15 minutes in rapidly boiling water (no salt added) and the shells will slide right off after they cool.

    Recipe #114787

A delicious and easy-to-make treat for Easter or any time of year. I was surprised at how quickly these came together. Use tinted coconut for “nests” for your eggs if desired. Do not use a lowfat or generic brand of peanut butter for this recipe. I recommend Jif’s Extra Crunchy. I also recommend you use a very good quality chocolate chip.

    Recipe #114389

This is a super easy recipe and tastes fabulous! You need to let it sit in the refrigerator for the 24 hours in the instructions because that allows the crackers to soak up the pudding mixture and get soft. It's killer!

    Recipe #112529

When I was a teenager I substituted blueberries for apples one day in one of my mom's recipes because my younger brother was begging for something sweet...and we had no apples. This is his favorite dessert!

    Recipe #106658

This is one of the best recipes I've come up with for beef roast. The cheapest cuts come out tasting like you slaved over a stove all day long. You can add potatoes and carrots to the recipe if you like, or shred it and serve it as a French Dip sandwich with the au jus juice from the crock pot on the side. If you are watching your sodium, use the lite soy sauce and it will taste just as delicious.

    Recipe #103403

My boyfriend absolutely loves my version of the standard bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwich! We eat them at least once a week. Easy to make, tastes great! Perfect for summer meals when it's too hot to heat up the kitchen with a lot of cooking as bacon can be microwaved if desired.

    Recipe #252170

I had this at a local restaurant and it is to die for!! I had a head cold and could still taste all the wonderful flavors. It's easy to make and I guarantee you will be serving this instead of plain tomato soup from now on.

    Recipe #221089

If you like chocolatey Moon Pies and delicious creamy banana pudding...imagine the two of them together!

    Recipe #120924

I got this recipe from chef Jimmy Sneed when he had his Frog & The Redneck restaurant in Richmond, VA. Fantastic. Sometimes less is best, and with this recipe, the crab meat takes center stage. I serve them with a flavorful rice and a fresh vegetable and fruit compote on the side. If you want to serve these as appetizers, make more patties and watch the cooking time so that you don't overbake and dry them out.

    Recipe #120769

I've used this with both chicken breasts (makes enough for 8 boneless breasts) or pork tenderloins. It makes the meat so tender and juicy! Perfect for grilling, or you can also use it in the oven. Great in a slow cooker if you prefer, for an easy dinner without the grill. Be SURE to wear gloves when handling the hot peppers.

    Recipe #120768

This is similar to some that I've tried but the taste is indescribable. Very tasty and easy to make! Make it the night before you plan to serve it so that all the flavors have time to meld. My can ounces are approximate, I buy the regular sized cans.

    Recipe #118929

I love this dish and so do my niece and nephew who call ahead to request it for dinner before they come to visit. It's easy and delicious. You can make the sauce thick or thin by the amount of milk you add, it's up to you. I usually use 3 chicken breasts because the kids love the meat in this pie.
