I've tried a lot of the potato salad recipes here at Recipezaar, but I keep coming back to my mother's recipe. It is simple, and it's the best. My father asks me to make it for him on a weekly basis, as my mother passed away years ago. I use Duke's or Hellman's mayonnaise for the best flavor. And I like to use the sweetest onion available so that it doesn't overpower the potatoes. Vidalias are the best when you can get them.

    Recipe #108488

When I was a teenager I substituted blueberries for apples one day in one of my mom's recipes because my younger brother was begging for something sweet...and we had no apples. This is his favorite dessert!

    Recipe #106658

This is an unusual and delicious chicken salad that is super easy to make. I love it on some loose lettuce leaves or inside a croissant. I use two large boneless chicken breasts to get the 2 cups of cubed meat. My Aunt Gladys of Glendale, CA made this for me several years ago and I have been making it ever since. My friends have been begging me for the recipe and now here it is. Enjoy!

    Recipe #106004

This is one of the best recipes I've come up with for beef roast. The cheapest cuts come out tasting like you slaved over a stove all day long. You can add potatoes and carrots to the recipe if you like, or shred it and serve it as a French Dip sandwich with the au jus juice from the crock pot on the side. If you are watching your sodium, use the lite soy sauce and it will taste just as delicious.
