Great for potlucks or to feed a crowd. Super easy! You could sub uncooked Minute Rice, but we prefer the flavor of the raw rice & Swanson Veggie Broth packet. **USE Swanson Vegetable Broth Packet instead of canned broth--Food.com needs to add this ingredient!**
Want the taste of green beans canned from a garden, but aren't able to can? This is a wonderful substitute. I learned this technique from a good friend. Put it in the crockpot on low before you head to church, put a roast or chicken in another crockpot, and come home to a wonderful, warm Sunday dinner!
Made this for a quick, inexpensive weeknight dinner. Don't have time for the wings before Monday Night Football? Try this!
You can sub any kind of cream soup you have on hand, or use any kind of chicken except canned. The flavor of canned just isn't as good! Great way to use leftover chicken or rice as well. Add as much hot sauce (FRANK'S) & ranch or bleu cheese as you like.
From Kelly @ onceamonthmom.com This is even better than the rotisserie chickens at the stores, and so simple and healthy. It's DIVINE!!!
I've also made it with chicken quarters. Just omit stuffing the cavity with lemon & herbs. Crush the herbs up & throw some in the marinade instead. I imagine it works best with bone-in pieces. Enjoy!
I've never been to Barney's, but I saw this recipe on the web and thought it sounded good. I have no idea if it tastes like Barney's.
The chili seasoning used is the one that comes in a brown paper bag-lloking package with a red label on it.
Haven't tried this one yet, but it sounds refreshing on a summer afternoon! I found this in an old church cookbook.
You may have to buy 2 16 oz. cans if you can't find the larger cans in the directions. Time includes marinating in the fridge.
