    I like the idea of sweet AND savory. I saw the recipe in O magazine. However, I have offered a few other options. Remember, cooking is all about choice.....every time. The recipe specified raw nuts.....however use what you've got! Mix it up use other nuts. Add other savory herbs. . Use a different zest. Use all honey or try some agave.

    My avocado trees and in full production and my star fruit just started it's 2nd crop for the year. Having no tomatoes in the yard or house, I made this up. It is very tasty. The star fruit creates a smooth guac. I left all the quantities to taste as we all like it slightly differently. Use it for dip, in place of mayo on a sandwich or as a side to fish......or wherever you want.
