I had some bananas that were becoming very ripe so I decided to make a banana bread. I wanted something with a twist so I added the peaches in. Smells wonderful, tastes great! Perfect with a cup of tea!
From my Granny's cookbook, " Prize Winning Recipes from Around the World." Preparation time does not include time to let the meat rest. This is good with garlic mashed potatoes. Try other types of sauces and nuts as you like.
from the smitten kitchen blog. these look yummy, saving this recipe here until i have a chance to make it! this recipe could work with other fruits, such as apples, pears, raspberries, etc. use your imagination!!
Fudge recipe from the cupcake project, adapted from chocolate balsamic truffles from the vosges store in Chicago. Use a good quality balsamic for best results. Author recommends saba, a traditional aged balsamic. If you want less balsamic flavor, sub vanilla extract for some of the balsamic. Serving size is an estimate. Cook time is time for fudge to set.
I made this tonight to add a creamy flair to our tacos. It is similar to the baja sauce from Taco Bell, maybe not so much in flavor as in the consistency and use. You just need a spoonful on your taco for a different twist.
From Diane & Todd's White on Rice food blog. This is wonderful. They recommend infusing your vodka with freshly grated horseradish 5-7 days prior to making this drink, but if you want one right away then you can use prepared horseradish. If you do infuse the vodka then the extra horseradish that the recipe states will not be required. Cheers!
