This is a recipe I got from our local newscast from the lady named Mary Ida, who makes them here in Md. She states that you can make the cake layers as thin or thick as you like them, it's all in your taste. You can also use any type of icing...strawberry creme, german chocolate, peach creme, etc., but she used the icing below the most. Times below are estimates...I have not personally made this cake yet...Yet! lol I will have to make 4 layers at a time since I only have 4 cake pans, and I'll probably be making mine an 8 layer) so that's how I got 24 min. cook time. If you make the layers thicker, they'll of course have to bake longer.

    Recipe #291536

I got the original recipe from, but tweeked it to my family's taste and ... Viola! An awesome Broccoli and Cauliflower salad! The recipe calls for bacon, but I use Bacon Bits. I don't give an amount for Bacon Bits, it depends on how much YOU want. Also, if you use Bacon Bits, add them right before serving.

    Recipe #285271

Another "Wanna Try". I would add some chopped onion and green/red peppers though. It's all in your taste! :o)

    Recipe #274995

Another "Wanna Try" recipe. It calls for vanilla extract, but I might try it with a strawberry extract instead.

    Recipe #274974

From Sounds yummy! Shortcut: For even faster fajitas, use a grill basket for foil pan. Reduce grilling time to 7-10 minutes.

    Recipe #268751

One of my favorite dinners to throw together on a hectic night.

    Recipe #268735

My daughter's 3rd grade classmates loved these! (And my 12 & 13 year old girls snuck a couple, too!) I used different colored fruit snacks.

    Recipe #268698

From Pillsbury. Make the ice cream mixture up to 6 hours before serving time and store it in the freezer. Let the mixture soften slightly at room temp before scooping it into the glasses. Just before serving, top with the ginger ale.

    Recipe #268696

Another "Wanna try..." recipe. Times are approx.

    Recipe #268648

Another recipe I found in my recipe drawer. I haven't made this yet, so times and servings are approx.

    Recipe #268643

This is the best baked bean recipe I've found so far! And it's done in the slow cooker so your stove and oven is open for other fixins'!

    Recipe #268570

This is the best potato and onion dish I've ever tried. I found the base recipe from and doctored it up my way. I've even added cooked diced ham to this and it was outstanding! Enjoy! :o)

    Recipe #268564

    From my "Wanna Try" file.

    Recipe #268558

Really good! Allow 2 tablespoons of seasoning per quart of water. If you cannot find hot smoked sausage, use another smoked sausage such as kielbasa and add crushed hot red pepper to the pot.

    Recipe #268555

Nice change from regular funnel cakes. Another one of those "I wanna try" recipes.

    Recipe #268361

I just found this in my recipe drawer, written down on paper. I wrote it down from somewhere or someone, just don't remember who or where! lol I have not tried it yet, but it is definitely on my "To Try Soon" list. Times are approx.

    Recipe #268359

From Allrecipes. This is the best stuffing I've ever tried! And it's perfect during the holidays... since it's done in the slow cooker there's more space on the stove/ oven for other things!

    Recipe #266807

I make a double batch of this and freeze half of it for a quick dinner on another night. Prep time is approx. I never time myself cooking.

    Recipe #265111

Easy homemade pot pit that my family loves!

    Recipe #265105

This is great for the holidays and tastes better than store bought. To make the slow cooker stuffing in the oven, prepare as directed using the full amount of broth. Transfer to a 9x13 inch baking dish or other large casserole dish. Bake uncovered for 45 minutes to 1 hour at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). This recipe is designed for use in a standard 4 quart slow cooker. Larger slow cookers will also work.
