This is my one of my son's most requested recipes, though all my kids love it! We serve it with warmed, real maple syrup for dipping. We tried 4 or 5 recipes before combining a few to come up with this one, now nothing else will do!
From Family Fun magazine. My sister in law made this at Christmas and it was great!! Here is what FF had to say: With its creamy cheese sauce and accent of bacon, this decadent recipe may tempt even the green-vegetable averse. It can be made early in the day, refrigerated, then baked before mealtime. (If you're simply not a sprout fan, you can substitute one very large head of cauliflower, cut into bite-size florets.)
I got this recipe from an old friend who became a chef for a local grocery store. They make this soup around St. Patrick's day at the grocery store & we always loved it. Yay, now we can have it more than once a year! I hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
Unbelievable taste combination & presentation, everyone will love this. And, best of all there are no calories, ok there are...but the taste makes them worth it :o). I always give out the recipe a few times when I make it. Enjoy!
We had the Napa Veggies at the Rainforest Cafe and knew we had to find a way to make something similiar at home. My kids now say that our recipe is better than the Rainforest Cafe's. There is a lot of room for personal taste with this recipe, add other veggies or take out those you don't like. Our favorite is the Jicima, we could never leave that one out! This recipe makes a ton, but it keeps well. It will still be nice & crispy 4 days later.
My sister-in-law brought these for Christmas and I have made them many times since. I have yet to bring these somewhere & not have to give out the recipe. They are my kids favorite brownie recipe & if you like peppermint flavor, you will love these!
