I ate this as a main dish, but I can imagine it being a wonderful side dish. SO easy to throw together but sooo good. Also, you can add anything, absolutely anything your heart desires; maybe mushrooms, or even spinach or kale...mmm I'm hungry just thinking about it.
My mother used to make this when I was little and it was one of the first things I ever made on my own. It is just WONDERFUL! I put can add more to everything because we always eyeball so this is more suggestions than anything. I add more banana in mine where my dad adds more cocoa powder. My mom said they used to serve this at a gym/spa she would go to so that's why it's called spa shake. I really hope you enjoy(=
