My sister made this for Christmas this year and I bugged her for the recipe so I could enjoy it whenever I wanted. You may use it as a spread or a dip, but we like it best served on Cocktail Party Rye bread. It would also be good on Pumpernickel too. Few ingredients, yet tons of flavor!

    Recipe #109844

This is a deliciously different type of taco xalad which includes chicken, avocado, and a tantalizing taco-flavored dressing. It's a very classy salad and a Pillsbury Bake-Off winner. Blue tortilla chips accompanying this dish adds the final touch of authentic Mexican flair!

    Recipe #108817

A gourmet grilled cheese indulgence by Rick Rodgers using a unique technique. Don't let the caloric content sway you however, the enjoyment of this sandwich will outweigh the consequences of consuming it!

    Recipe #106303

A savory gourmet dish in little more than half an hour? You bet! I've recently fallen in love with fennel and this recipe from BHG showcases it beautifully in a delicious, flavorful cream sauce. Prep time is cooking time and is approximate.

    Recipe #105986

A very special strudel filled with creamy chocolate and crunchy walnuts, served warm from the oven with a dusting of sweet powdered sugar. Sound yummy? It is, and oh so easy to make! A classic from Pepperidge Farm.

    Recipe #105788

Oh sweet decadence... this grand prize winner from 'Taste of Home' certainly earned it's prize! I did however, feel the glaze was a tad bitter for my tastes (yes, (blush), I tampered with a winner), so I made an adjustment to it by adding a bit of confectioner's sugar for added sweetness. Using a fine brand of chocolate such as Ghiradelli will guarantee this dessert to reign supreme. I've also used Baker's with fabulous results. This is a beautiful, rich dessert that an elegant restaurant would serve their guests, and my family adored it! I took a picture after placing three red candy roses in the center but unfortunately I can't share it with you because I haven't gotten a digital camera yet. "Santa, are you listening...?"

    Recipe #105576

These pancakes are made with Bisquick and the name says it all! If you'd like an extra special pancake breakfast, feel free to add a half a cup or so of blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, or chocolate chips, etc. Drizzle with your favorite syrup and savor the morning!

    Recipe #105092

When I see a holiday cookie platter, I usually grab the powdery snowball cookie first cuz it's my favorite. This was the recipe my grandma used for as long as I could remember, and I think they're the best I've had! I make them now, but yummy as they are, I must admit I enjoyed them much more when grandma was here to bake them for us.

    Recipe #104837

When you think of a trifle, you may think of a fancy and elegant dessert. I got this recipe quite a few years ago from a "sample lady" at the supermarket. Though she made it with strawberry Pop Tarts and strawberries, you could use blueberry Pop Tarts and blueberries for variation. This is a fun trifle- one for the kids (of all ages, of course!)

    Recipe #104580

This is a Pillsbury Bake Off Winning recipe. It's delicious but I have made a few small changes to it like decreasing the amount of oil used. Fun and easy to make, fun and easy to eat!

    Recipe #104294

True comfort food to warm you inside and compliment your favorite meat dish!

    Recipe #103671

Can't go wrong with Betty! Crocker, that is. This is just so delicious that I make it quite often. It's wonderful with pork chops, wienerschnitzel (did I spell that right?), or just by itself. Flavorful with just the right amount of tanginess!

    Recipe #103289

Whip up this dessert from Taste of Home if you crave the creamy sweetness of Banana Cream Pie and TREAT yourself! Of course you can easily double this recipe and make it for two, but an occasional indulgence for one's self should never be overlooked. Then again, this is a good-sized dessert! Absolutely yummy!

    Recipe #102987

This recipe is a combination of a great little barbecue sauce specifically made for the burger (imagine that!) and a superb burger I came across on the internet and made a few little changes to. When I first read the ingredients for the sauce I was thinking hmmm... I don't know. But Better Homes & Gardens just knows their stuff! Burger fanatic that I am, this heavenly match has become a household favorite.

    Recipe #102889

I searched a while for a really good potato pancake recipe. Several I tried were too bland for our tastes, or just too dry. This one from Quick Cooking is moist, flavorful, and just a fabulous side dish for any meat entree. Bravo to the chef!

    Recipe #102723

This easy to make corn casserole has a kick to it! Perfect little side dish for Mexican entrees.

    Recipe #102532

Fun to make and even more fun to eat! The Parmesan breadsticks with garlic make them oh so good!

    Recipe #102526

I love sharing these two ingredient recipes, though this one may sound a little odd. I must admit when I heard a chef on TV say that freshly ground black pepper on sweet cantaloupe is exceptional, I was thinking more like- bizarre! But once you taste this, especially you cantaloupe lovers, you may never eat it any other way.

    Recipe #102423

From a cookbook called "Great Food From Mom's Diner", this pie couldn't taste more like Grandma baked it than, well, if she HAD baked it! I made this for Thanksgiving last year and the first bite just amazed me. It almost tasted a bit TOO homemade-(is there such a thing?) Since I'm not a big pie person and probably favor the more modern, trendier desserts, I haven't really made it again. But if you love pie with extremely old-fashioned flavor and VERY simple to put together, try this one out and impress the family! A scoop of vanilla ice cream on top would be just grand.

    Recipe #102424

Tangy sharp cheddar cheese, zesty red pepper, Italian spices, and baked- not fried! A savory switch from traditional mozzarella sticks from Kraft.
