    I guess I saw this idea somewhere on Pintrest, but not sure where. I did switch things up and used different fruits. It's more of an idea than a recipe. Feel free to use whatever fruits/cheeses strike your fancy. Tried this for our 4th of July picnic. Super easy, fun, and a different twist on the flag cake or jello. This way I could serve something chocolate for dessert and there was still fruit for those who wanted it.

    From the Taste of Home Cookbook. I searched and searched the website, and was surprised not to find this here. There are a ton of broccoli cheese soup recipes, but none with this seasoning combination, which I really thought was a winner. I made this last week to use up some broccoli and was really impressed. This calls for light ingredients, but use what you have on hand, that's what I typically do. Any kind of broth (except seafood) would work.

    This is a favorite at the daycare where I work, I can't think of one child who doesn't like it, and most have seconds. I also made it for a group of teenagers on a recent camping trip, and they enjoyed it as well. At the daycare we serve this as is with tortilla chips for dipping. However I did up the taco seasoning and also added some canned tomatoes and served with salsa on the side when I made it for the teenagers. We never measure when we make it at the daycare, we just add ingredients until it seems right.

    Ok, so I know I don't like Martha and all, so I guess I should stop submitting her recipes. It's really her personality that grates on me, but she does have quite a few good recipes up her sleeve, and so I can't help but share when I come across one not already posted. This one is a very moist cupcake, with a nice durable frosting, which makes them great to transport. The brown sugar flavor makes them stand out from other cupcakes, and even though they are homemade, and taste like it, they are not overly difficult or time consuming to make.
