A holiday jello salad from Gloria Coates (found in Oct/Nov 2007 issue of Taste of Home). She says she garnishes it with fresh cranberries and mint leaves.

    Recipe #447662

A "...luscious fruit-and-gelatin dish," shared by Constance Fennell in the June/July 2008 issue of Country magazine. I did not include refrigeration time. Prepare this the day before you would like to serve it.

    Recipe #449400

Can be made to keep on hand for yourself, or to package and give as gifts. To give as a gift, place rice mix in pint sized Ziplock bags, labeled with instructions. Found in Dec/Jan 1998 issue of TOH. Submitted by Emily Chaney.

    Recipe #449058

An appetizer spread to serve with celery and carrot sticks or crackers. From a Sun-Maid recipe book (original called for white wine vinegar, but I only use apple cider vinegar).

    Recipe #447660

    An excellent breakfast biscuit.

    Recipe #429711

From Bon Appetit magazine. Mmmm. Pretty much anything with curry is good, and I love frittatas. Actually, I think I just love eggs. So, why not eggs for supper?

    Recipe #429730

Yummy dressing on a yummy salad. Adapted slightly from a recipe found in the Taste of Home Cookbook, originally submitted by Gail Sykora. Can also be topped with crumbled bacon.

    Recipe #481643

Found in Taste of Home December/January 1996, submitted by Norma Apel.

    Recipe #475183

Found in TOH's June/July 2008 magazine. Submitted by Mike Bass who says you can also substitute feta or cream cheese for the goat cheese.

    Recipe #448460

I guess I saw this idea somewhere on Pintrest, but not sure where. I did switch things up and used different fruits. It's more of an idea than a recipe. Feel free to use whatever fruits/cheeses strike your fancy. Tried this for our 4th of July picnic. Super easy, fun, and a different twist on the flag cake or jello. This way I could serve something chocolate for dessert and there was still fruit for those who wanted it.

    Recipe #517159

"...fresh-tasting and festive-looking. It's the perfect light side dish for a big holiday meal." Found in the Dec/Jan 1999 issue of TOH. Submitted by Chere Bell.

    Recipe #449343

Adapted slightly from the Taste of Home Cookbook. Originally submitted by Alicia Szeszol.

    Recipe #481639

Tasty and healthier burger option. From Chatelaine's website.

    Recipe #472216

From the Taste of Home Cookbook. I searched and searched the website, and was surprised not to find this here. There are a ton of broccoli cheese soup recipes, but none with this seasoning combination, which I really thought was a winner. I made this last week to use up some broccoli and was really impressed. This calls for light ingredients, but use what you have on hand, that's what I typically do. Any kind of broth (except seafood) would work.

    Recipe #439281

This is a favorite at the daycare where I work, I can't think of one child who doesn't like it, and most have seconds. I also made it for a group of teenagers on a recent camping trip, and they enjoyed it as well. At the daycare we serve this as is with tortilla chips for dipping. However I did up the taco seasoning and also added some canned tomatoes and served with salsa on the side when I made it for the teenagers. We never measure when we make it at the daycare, we just add ingredients until it seems right.

    Recipe #431908

Sounds yummy. Found in a June/July 2008 issue of TOH. Submitted by Dixie Terry.

    Recipe #448363

East Indian flavored chicken. Recipe calls for tenders but I think it would work just as well with skinless, boneless breasts or thighs if you adjust the cooking time (maybe baking for 15 minutes and then broiling). From the Dec/Jan 2011 issue of Taste of Home. Submitted by Carol Dodds.

    Recipe #481649

Cute cookie project to decorate. I made these for friends (mostly of the young variety) around the holidays a few years ago.

    Recipe #430879

Found in the December/January 1996 issue of Taste of Home, submitted by Denise Goedeken.

    Recipe #475528

Ok, so I know I don't like Martha and all, so I guess I should stop submitting her recipes. It's really her personality that grates on me, but she does have quite a few good recipes up her sleeve, and so I can't help but share when I come across one not already posted. This one is a very moist cupcake, with a nice durable frosting, which makes them great to transport. The brown sugar flavor makes them stand out from other cupcakes, and even though they are homemade, and taste like it, they are not overly difficult or time consuming to make.
