I have a sourdough starter that's been going for a little over a year, and I'm now getting good performance from it (good rises, and getting that desired, sour flavor). I've tried a lot of different recipes, and this simple one, is my own concoction I'm trying out today. We'll see how it goes!
I kind of threw this one together in the crockpot, and wasn't sure how it would turn out. It was fabulous! My husband loved it - he suggested I call it "fusion stew." Serve it over rice or cooked noodles. : )
