This loaf is so moist and one of the very best I have ever made. I added raisins also but you can leave them out. This recipe makes two loaves and freezes excellent. Once you start eating it, you can't stop! Enjoy!
My Mom made one of the best Sour Cream Coffee cakes that I have ever tasted. I've tried other recipes and none of them were as moist as my Mom's. If you are looking for a moist and delicious Sour Cream Coffee cake, well look no further and make this one. I've added a couple of variations at the bottom. My neighbors son always asks me when I am going to make him this cake with the chocolate chips.
This is just an awesome Spanish rice dish that I always prepare with my recipe for Mexican Corn Bread (#110947).
I also make Mexican Fried Corn (#58803)which is really tasty and goes well with my Spanish Rice and Mexican Corn Bread. If you are in the mood for Mexican some evening, make all three dishes and you won't be disappointed, neither will your guests!
I absolutely love this Mexican Corn Bread, the taste is sensational and you will not be disappointed either. Use a cast iron frying pan to bake this in as it gives it the best color. Serve with Mexican rice, salad or refried beans. Everyone always asks me when I am going to make it again...enjoy!
This is a wonderful bran muffin that my Mom always made and now I carry on the tradition. This recipe came from the back of Rogers Wheat Bran. Quick to make, plus the recipe doubles well and freezes excellent.
These can only be described as delicious and decadent and well worth making. This was in a Robin Hood recipe book and I just knew that it would be worth trying. The triangles give it a very special look but you can cut these into squares or bars.
I found this on All Recipes site and quadrupled it for a large group of friends, plus I made my Stampede Beans(recipe #98459) to take to one of our annual muscle car shows. So easy to prepare and the taste was great. Everyone loved it as there wasn't a spoon full left!
Another of my Mom's excellent recipes. This is a perfect potatoe casserole if you are having 12 people over for supper and the taste is great. Cut the recipe in half to serve a smaller group of 6. This dish can be prepared the day before and then refrigerate until ready to use. Bring it to room temperature before placing into the oven, otherwise the cooking time will increase.
I have never had wings that taste as good as these and this is the only recipe I use to make wings with. My girlfriend Betty gave me this recipe and she got it from her neighbor so it's starting to get around. Everyone that I have served these to absolutely loves them and goes well with a nice rice dish. Great for a large crowd and tastes good warmed up if there are any left overs.
French cut green beans are my favorite and this recipe is positively fabulous. I found this recipe about 5 years ago in a cookbook that was dropped off at work and make it often as it gets a lot of requests. This can be prepared ahead and refrigerated overnight. When you are ready to serve this take it out of the fridge and let it come to room temperature and bake uncovered at 350 for 45 to 50 minutes or until thoroughly heated. Top with remaining onions during the last 5 minutes of baking time. DELICIOUS!!
