This is an old recipe from The Guild Cookbook that I got years ago.
It makes the best bran muffins...The batter will get dark on top in the refrigerator but just stir it up and it will last 7 weeks. Use Kelloggs Bran Flakes, not bran buds....I use Crisco Shortening, either butter or regular.
You will need 6 cups total of bran flakes.
I made this for Company last night and it was fabulous and so easy...
Got it from Betty Crockers Fall Baking Magazine...I used a Pillsbury
refrigerated pie crust. The only thing I changed is I used Splenda instead of sugar as I was feeding a diabetic...
I have made this for years for special occasions and it is so easy as you can prepare ahead of time...I sometimes use medium size egg noodles instead of fettuccine...I got this recipe from a cookbook of mine called Special Occasions.
Great recipe from Southern Living Christmas at Home magazine. This recipe uses a white cake mix, make the cake according to the box instructions, but add mashed bananas and ginger to the mix...the computer gave me a hard time with the whole cake mix thing...
A cooking light recipe that I put my own spin on as the reviews for the dough were not good, so I tried the refrigerated pie dough and they turned out great...
Cooking time does not count the 1 1/2 hours for the beef carnita sauce to simmer. you can make your own empanada dough if desired.
I was at a restuarant in Suttons Bay call North Country Grill.
They were serving this drink and it was fabulous.
It is such a pretty light blue color!
They used real lemonade I chose to use crystel light.
