Simple muffins from scratch with a surprise filling. They are not too sweet. The original recipe also suggests substituting another fruit, or steamed carrots, for the plum filling. I tried it with blueberries, most of them stayed in the middle but they rose to the top on a few of the muffins. You could also use jam. For ZWT7, from ricettedalmondo.it

    Recipe #457300

Typical Liberian beverage from .african-recipes-secrets.com for ZWT7.

    Recipe #457290

    A simple couscous pudding. Makes 4 - 1 cup servings. For ZWT7. From congocooking.com

    Recipe #457272

A refreshing hibiscus tea recipe from West Africa. For ZWT7 from congocookbook.com.

    Recipe #457270

Delicious non-alcoholic drink. Use Vanilla, Cherry, Orange, Raspberry, Almond, Hazelnut, Caramel or any other flavor of syrup. This recipe is a little lighter than other Italian soda recipes. For ZWT7. From caressrecipes.

    Recipe #457269

Sounds interesting. I think that bacon would work instead of the pancetta in this dish. From Savuer magazine, for ZWT4.

    Recipe #457239

A sandwich spread made from Italian bologna, from Saveur magazine, for ZWT7.

    Recipe #457237

Cuban ham and cheese sandwich from Saveur magazine, for ZWT7.

    Recipe #457233

    Recipe #457231

From Saveur Magazine, for ZWT7. "A specialty of Cape Town, South Africa, this hefty sandwich combines bologna and french fries with piri-piri hot sauce." Makes one 8" sandwich.

    Recipe #457230

A recipe from a friend's mother that is perfect for a fish fry.

    Recipe #440040

Tender pork cutlets and a tangy pan sauce. If you want a milder sauce, cut down on the vinegar and mustard. I actually made this using a 2 lb pork roast, sliced into 1/2 rounds.

    Recipe #432445

I love Kalamata olives, and find that they add a rich, savory flavor to my meals. (I get mine from big lots, look for them by the specialty foods in your grocery store.) This simple salad is a great use for leftover pasta - or you can make pasta just for this recipe. The ingredients are all msg free and low in free glutamates - if that is not a concern for you a few halved cherry tomatoes would be a great addition. This make three small or two large servings.

    Recipe #428176

A fluffy dessert served in small bowls with crisp almond cookies, or used in a torte. Norwegian recipe from ancestry.com for ZWT6.

    Recipe #428173

From Kari Diehl of about.com for the ZWT6. You can use fresh or frozen berries - 1 lb is equal to three cups. I would also like to try this with cranberries.

    Recipe #428172

From Savuer magazine. A twist on saganaki. It makes two appetizer servings and extra broth. The photos look absolutely delicious! For ZWT 6.

    Recipe #426488

I love steamed fish, but my husband doesn't. This is the only way that I can get him to eat fish that isn't fried or raw. :-) The curry flavor is not spicy, and helps tone down the "fishiness" of the fish. If you can use fresh spices, the flavor will be better. This recipe is inspired by my favorite curry recipe. For the ZWT6 Wild card challenge No Nonsense Nibblers.

    Recipe #426487

Smorrebrod is an open faced sandwich from Denmark. There are several great remoulade recipes on 'zaar to choose from. This recipe makes one sandwich, but is easily multiplied to serve more. From Saveur magazine, for ZWT6.

    Recipe #425070

A light dip or sandwich spread. This recipe is from a finnish website. I translated it with the auto translator, the only ingredient that I couldn't figure out was "1 tl hienonnettuja kuminoita" which translated to "1 teaspoon chopped rubber witch." Rosslare was kind enough to let me know that it is ground cumin (the plural is very similar to rubber witch.) I would use a good yogurt for this recipe - some brands are watered down and held together with gelatin, they don't work nearly as well in recipes like this where you want a thick, rich dip. Cooking time is chill time. For ZWT6.

    Recipe #425068

Hearty soup served with mint infused butter. A traditional Turkish recipe from Saveur magazine, for ZWT6.
