My adaptation of a recipe that came with a bottle of Tabasco Chipotle Pepper Sauce. Juicy and tender, this burger has a wonderful smoky, spicy flavor without being overpoweringly hot.

    Recipe #267106

Filet Mignon and Martinis; does it get any more decadent than that? The martini tenderizes the steak and gives it a nice, subtle flavor – not overpowering or alcohol-y at all. This steak will literally melt in your mouth. (The cut of the meat really isn’t as important as the quality. If you prefer a rib-eye, get that, but get the best quality meat you can afford as it really does make a difference. I like a nice, dry-aged Hereford.) Cooking time does not include marinating time.

    Recipe #225587

This simple, elegant appetizer has an amazing combination of sweet, salty, tart and fresh flavors. Replace the mint with any type of herb that you like. Oregano is quite nice. For an even quicker version, use canned pears. Simply drain them and heat them up in the microwave until just warm, then proceed to step 4.

    Recipe #210838

This queen of grilled cheese sandwiches comes from the March 07 Every Day With Rachael Ray magazine. The gooey brie, salty prosciutto and sweet figs are the perfect combination! Rachael suggests serving these sandwiches with sweet potato fries.

    Recipe #209884

I’ve made it my mission to find the perfect mojito recipe – I know, it is a tough job. So I’ve tried dozens of different recipes (See the sacrifices I make?) and have come up with what I think is the perfect mojito. The secret is the simple syrup and the bitters.

    Recipe #178148

Who would have thought that gin and maple syrup would taste good together?

    Recipe #177878

Searching for something better than a boring beef burger? This peanut chicken burger gives you all of the great flavors of pad thai in a juicy burger right from your grill. Great topped with an asian slaw, peanut dressing, or a sweet chili sauce. Recipe inspired by Rob Rainford. Prep time includes time for the burgers to rest.

    Recipe #170238

Fantastic, succulent lamb chops for the grill. My husband's specialty. Recipe inspired by Rob Rainford. Marinating time not included in cook time.

This is also great with asparagus. For a variation, add seasonings and grated parmesan to the bread crumbs and brown the topping under the broiler after the last step. Adapted from Mario Batali Holiday Food by Mario Batali.

    Recipe #139483

Bon Appétit, September 2005. Prep time does not include marinating time.

    Recipe #139481

This is my absolute favorite crostini! If you've never cooked with anchovies before, don't worry, they don't taste "fishy" at all and they totally dissolve in the butter. In fact, when I serve this I never tell people that there are anchovies in it. If anyone asks, I just say that I use garlic and herbs and my 'secret ingredient'. So far no one has guessed my secret ingredient and everyone loves the crostini. Based on a recipie by Giada De Laurentiis.

    Recipe #103814

This is a variation of Mandarin Orange Cake that my friend's mother is famous for.

    Recipe #100394

This is my Mom's famous Chess Pie. It was always one of the first to sell out at the Church bake sales. Rich and creamy and easy as can be. A dieter's nightmare - but quite the tasty treat.
