    These Cinnamon Rolls are unique because they have molasses in them to give them a gingerbread flavor. They are from the Dec, 2009 issue of BH&G and are a Prize Tested Recipe from Torie Christensen. I can't wait to try them! Preparation time includes time for bread to rise.

    This comes from the Dec. 2009 issue of BH&G. I have not made it yet, but it sounds like it would be a nice Winter Salad. They suggest that you have the cheese at room temperature and use a vegetable peeler to shave it. Then, cover in plastic wrap until ready to use.

    This is a recipe from Yoplait. I haven't tried it yet, but it sounds like a great Summer dessert or snack. The recipe says you can use plain yogurt, but I think the vanilla would be much better.

    This recipe comes from the October 2009 issue of Better Homes and Gardens. It is a little different from similar recipes, in that it uses roasted red peppers and refrigerated shredded hash browns. I haven't made this recipe, but I have made other soups with hash browns and they were wonderful. I can't wait to try this one!

    This is my version of the ever popular Five Cup Salad. I prefer to leave out the coconut, and I substitute vanilla yogurt for the sour cream found in most recipes. I usually just add the whole can of fruit.

    This is one of my favorite, feel good meals. It's quick, healthy and delicious. I usually use cannellini beans, but any beans are good - garbanzos, navy beans, black beans. I just think the white beans look nice. All amounts are approximate. This is a very flexible recipe. Add more garlic, less garlic, Just remember that the spinach will shrink down even more than you might expect it too - so I use plenty of spinach. I like this as a vegetarian lunch, but it would be good as a side dish as well.

    This is a recipe from the May, 2009 Better Homes and Gardens. It is shrimp and beans, along with fresh vegetables and seasonings, all wrapped up in a foil packet, then served on top of toasted bread. I love cooking in foil as it can easily be made ahead, and cleanup is a breeze!

    This comes from the Woman's Day, February 2009 issue. It is from the Eating Well/1-2-3 dinner section, so it's super easy - only 3 ingredients. The recipe calls for a red curry 10 minute simmer sauce from Thai Kitchen, but the program doesn't recognize it.

    I found this recipe in the February 2009 issue of Better Homes and Gardens. It looks really good - maybe an alternative to chili sometime. I haven't made it yet, but am putting it here until I can. You can use salmon fillets with skin, just bake them skin side down, then leave the skin on the baking pan, using only the meat. Be sure to use gloves when working with the jalapeno as the oils may burn skin and eyes.

    I make these for my kids lunch, and they are the envy of all their friends. I even send extra, knowing that their friends will eat some too They are quite nutritious as well, and the recipe can be doubled easily. I usually make a double recipe and put them on a pizza pan or cookie sheet. I let them sit in the freezer for a couple hours, then move them to a resealable plastic bag. Then I pull out as many as I need. I pack their lunches in the morning, and the peanut butter balls are thawed by lunchtime.

    Crispy chicken in a quick and easy dish that can be served over rice or noodles. From Family Circle magazine. I add extra firm tofu, cubed, in place of half the chicken, or all the chicken, which makes it vegetarian. It's delicious that way!
