Ready, Set, Cook! Reynolds Wrap Contest Entry. I discovered preparing brick chicken while living in South America many years ago and it has been one of my favorites ever since. The combination of the perfectly crisp chicken with the subtle lemon flavored sauce and the vegetables steamed in wine make for a perfect light meal. Many combinations of vegetables and sauces can be substituted, and I have tried alot, but this is my favorite and I always receive great reviews from my guests.

    Recipe #494998

Ready, Set, Cook! Special Edition Contest Entry -- A rustic and flavorful dish which is a meal in itself. The texture and taste of the main ingredients (potatoes and shrimp) are present in every bite. The taste of each bite leaves you craving for another. This recipe was inspired by my Greek heritage and the time I spent living in South America. Note: In place of using the juice from a lemon, the lemon could be sliced and spread on top of the potatoes in the first layer. If using the slices, you may want to peel the lemon first so that the peel does not create a bitter taste.

This is my take on the cajun classic. The main ingredients are highlited nicely by the Hollandaise Sauce. Whether you are serving this dish for Sunday brunch or an evening meal, all will enjoy, gaar-on-teed !!
