This is a beautiful salad indeed, with a scrumptious taste. A perfect blend of many flavors.

    Recipe #385129

My MIL, Addie was an adventurous cook. This is one of her great recipes from the 1970s. A wok would work well in preparing this recipe, but is not really necessary, a 12 inch frying pan will do, nicely.

This recipe was in our local paper several years back. It was a restaurant review of Chez Jose's. I went to the restaurant; so enjoyed this dish, that I came home to prepare it for our family. It has been a favorite ever since. It is now my gift to you. And I still have it at Chez Jose's every, single time that I go there.

    Recipe #279523

Do you remember Chi-Chi's Restaurant? It was a wonderful Mexican Restaurant that gave up their USA chain in 2004. There are still two of their restaurants in Europe, one in Belgium and one in Luxemburg. I have many of their great recipes, this is one.

    Recipe #281022

This is a very nice sauce for grilled or pan fried fish. Just something a bit different. Adds a touch of class to the dish.

    Recipe #279591

This has been a family favorite for some time now. Seems to have just sort of evolved. Has an interesting flavor, just a bit different. It is my first posting of a recipe on Recipezaar.

    Recipe #276428

This is so tasty, it is addictive. I use it on broiled steaks, broiled pork chops, salads, cottage cheese or vanilla ice cream. It is hot and smoky but, can be made less intense in pepper heat.

    Recipe #299321

Fast pea soup with really excellent flavor made with canned peas and kraut. A family favorite, for nearly 4 decades. I personally use gluten-free flour.

    Recipe #278692

Three ingredients plus chicken or fish.

    Recipe #285471

Got this recipe from our local paper, many years ago. It is quick and good, another family favorite. Can be made with bottled pre-squeezed orange juice, but fresh orange juice is better.

    Recipe #278893

This is not only a comfort food, but a delightfully different soup..........with the addition of Apples, Apple Brandy, and Apple Cider. I am pleased to share this unique recipe with you, with the permission of my French friend, who created it.

    Super quick using canned asparagus.

    Recipe #279313

Will try to remember this recipe from the late '60s. Originally from Horst Mager's cooking show on TV. He has had many and still has a couple of restaurants in Portland, Oregon. He started our Western Culinary College. For our family, I used to make this recipe about 3 times a month, for decades. If you love liver, you'll love this recipe. I even like it cold, the next day, if there is any left.
