I came across this recipe over the weekend. This recipe is at least 25 years old and I imagine I got it off a box of Chex cereal way back when. I know we used to make it all the time for parties and that everyone really enjoyed it.

    Recipe #163760

This is a favourite of mine that my mother used to bake a lot. Very similar to a couple of other recipes here. Hope you enjoy it.

    Recipe #163748

An easy recipe from Canadian Living. I used pumpkin seeds as I do not care for sunflower seeds. It was suggested to cook this bread in a covection oven for a crispier crust and it was delicious. Unfortunately the crust softened overnight. Preparation time does not include the 3 1/2 hours needed for the bread to rise.

    Recipe #162252

This is a recipe from Canadian Living On-line. I will be making this again, although I will increase the amount of herbs used. My husband and I found the recipe as is, a bit bland. Hope you enjoy it.

    Recipe #161986

This is an authentic German bread recipe found on chefkoch.de. My husband, being German, finds North American bread recipes to "sweet" for sandwiches. This bread is very good and quite healthy. You can use either white flour, whole wheat, ry or whole grain. I prefer using whole grain. If you substitute rye flour you may have to use more yeast and the rising time for the bread will also be longer. Preparation time does not include the length of time for the bread to raise. This a simple recipe and good for beginners.

    Recipe #158790

From Cooking Light We haven't had a "bad" recipe from Cooking Light yet and this was no exception. The only change I made was that I dredged the chicken in flour instead of breadcrumbs. Hope you enjoy this as much as we did.

    Recipe #153563

This recipe is from Better Homes & Gardens. Good low calorie buritto. I used kidney beans and fresh chopped green chiles instead of the refried beans. They were not available here.

    Recipe #171096

This is my mother's recipe and I have always loved it. Quick and easy to prepare. When I don't have time to make my own lemon filling, I prefer Jello lemon pudding and pie filling (the kind you cook, NOT the instant).

    Recipe #169895

This is a typical German Strawberry Flan. When the strawberry season arrives these cakes can be found in every café and every home. You can use any combination of fruits on the cake. Peaches and kiwi; raspberries, apricots - etc. To glaze I use the packaged glaze which can usually be found in the produce (!) section of the supermarket.

    Recipe #169646

This is my mothers recipe that she has been making for years. I do not know where she got it from, but I love it and still ask her to make it for me when I am visiting. Cooking time is approx. Does not include rising time.

    Recipe #163757

Another recipe from Tim Malzer. I haven't tried this yet and am putting it here for safekeeping. Preparation and cooking times are only estimated.

    Recipe #162936

Another great recipe from Tim Malzer. We loved it. Hope you enjoy it. Serve with Basil-Peach Sauce.

    Recipe #162858

Serve with Saltimbocca with Grilled Peaches. Recipe is also from Tim Malzer.

    Recipe #162720

This dish is from Tim Malzer, a German chef who just won the Golden Camera in Germany for his TV show. His recipes are always delicious.

    Recipe #162411

This is a bit different than the other salmon recipes here. It is very quick and easy to make - came from Canadian Living. I marinated the salmon in the glaze for about 30 minutes before cooking. I have fried the salmon and I have also cooked it on the George Foreman - both were excellent. Cooking time does not include marinating time.

    Recipe #162114

Also from Canadian Living On-line; to be served with Garlic Pork Roast

    Recipe #161833

German Flax Bread. I got the recipe off a German internet page.

    Recipe #160376

I found this recipe on a German web site. It was really good and fairly quick to make. Great recipe for those of you who like "European" breads. Preparation time does not include the time it takes for the bread to rise (about 90 minutes).
