Easy and Yummy...though a bit odd sounding when you read the recipe. I haven't made it in years, so the times are estimated. But I remember it being pretty quick to make besides the chilling. Chilling time is included in prep time.

    Recipe #407026

Caution: Not for the timid or beginner baker. ***When I offered to make the cake for my friend's daughters Oz themed bday party, I thought for sure I could find a really fun ruby slipper cake online. But all I found were over the rainbow cakes or cakes using oz figurines - these were not creative enough for me. So I created Dorothy's Ruby Slipper Cake. I allowed myself 4 days of doing cake stuff before the party day because I didn't want to get over tired trying to do it all at once. But it can probably be done in two days - one day for baking and freezing and one day for building and frosting. Or I suppose one day if you woke up early enough. ***To make building the cake easier, you will need a long serrated bread knife, I wide spatula and a long narrow spatula - see pic 1. You will also need a 9x13" cake pan, two 8" loaf pans, an electric mixer, and a double boiler. ***The frosting recipe I use is Fluffy 7 Minute Frosting #22181 by Caryn. I have included it here. ***Good Luck and Enjoy!

    Recipe #181972

Make any cup of hot chocolate special with Hershey's York Peppermint Patties. Be sure to use the miniature size patties, about the size of a quarter.

    Recipe #148420

This is what I put together for the Ready Set Cook Summer 2005 recipe contest. It is good by it's self, on crackers, on bread, or on a bed of lettuce. Great for a side dish, a main dish, or a summer day brunch.

    Recipe #131957

A gluten free, dairy free Tuna Casserole. I came up with this because Tuna Casserole is a comfort food for me, but I can no longer eat the gluten-full pasta or make it with the creamed soup that my recipe calls for. I tried many different things using various milk substitutes and no pasta (or gluten free pasta) but this is the best recipe I came up with.

    Recipe #500055

I put this together one evening when I was feeling particularly hungry before bed. I wanted a treat, but I also wanted something with protine and not full of sugar. I use frozen cauliflower instead of fresh because I like that frozen veggies in my smoothie chills it nicely, but fresh would no doubt be better.

I love eggnog but can't have the dairy. Then it occurred to me that it would be great made with coconut milk - which is my milk substitute of choice. I couln't find a recipe here that just called for coconut milk, so I searched the web where I found many sites posting such a recipe as all of the sites that I looked at posted the same recipe, I am not crediting where it came from. I also like this recipe because everything gets cooked. I haven't tried it yet because I wanted to post it on here so I could easily calculate the ingredients for a smaller batch as it is just for me. Prep time is estimated - total time includes chilling time.

This may not be everyone's favorite style of granola, but I did a lot of experimenting to get a granola with good texture and flavor - and free of foods that my system can't tolerate: GLUTEN, DAIRY, AND SOY. I also have found a lot of granola recipes to be too sweet and too expensive to make with all of the honey they call for. So I have tried to avoide that with my recipe. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

    Recipe #439197

After not finding a recipe for what I imagined in my mind, I put this together. And was pleased with the results on the first try. Prep time includes 1/2 hour marrinating. Hope you enjoy it as much as my family did.

    Recipe #403117

Unique, savory/sweet flavor. We could not help but comment on how good it smelled while BBQing. Each bite made us crave another bite and every other bite made us want to say how good it was. My husband is the one who grills in our family because it tastes so good when he does and I am always disappointed when I do. But it was my turn and I was determined to make something as flavorful as he can and this time I think I finally succeeded!

    Recipe #172865

I bought caramel candies before I looked on racipezaar for a recipe, but when I got home and looked for a recipe, I couldn't find one that called for caramel candies and only served a few people and didn't have lots of other ingredients that I did not have on hand. So this is what I came up with. It was very tasty. It is the right amount for one apple and one banana and some tortilla chips which, believe it or not, are delicious in the caramel sauce as it is like yummy warm caramel corn! I served this with other snack food for four adults and one young child. It seemed to be the right amount. Use caution with your fondue pot, mine sits over a candle and the caramel started to scorch on the bottom.

    Recipe #146274

Best home made play dough recipe! No endless stirring over the stove top. No baking in the oven. I got this recipe when I was a preschool teacher and have tresured it. GREAT texture....only thing it is missing is the smell of store bought play dough. It calls for Kool Aid to color and scent...but personally I never make it with Kool Aid because I don't want my children to think it is food - it is hard enough to keep kids from eating play dough. But the new neon food colors work really good to get nice color. (DOES NOT AIR DRY OR BAKE WELL)

    Recipe #131256

Had this at my sister-in-law's. She got the recipe from a friend. So easy and so good!

    Recipe #116857

Skip the syrup and go straight for the vanilla ice cream with this one! (And yes, you can have ice cream for breakfast)

    Recipe #111132

After reading reviews of this recipe that I came up with, I learned (and should have known already) that patroleum jelly is DANGEROUS to cook with. And although I have always found it useful on my own skin, it was also pointed out that it is actually not healthy for the skin. So Please DO NOT use this recipe. It could lead to FIRE or EXPLOSION and may indeed hamper skin healing.

    Recipe #109349

This is a variation of Annies Low-carb No Flour Pancakes found on Annies recipe calls for 1/2 cup of cottage cheese, but as I rarely have cottage cheese on hand, I have used both sour cream and low-carb yogurt. If you use flavored yogurt, you don't need to top your pancakes with anything. I make the whole batch at once and keep any left overs in the fridge so I can just grab them for a quick snack, either plain or with a slice of cheese.
