I've used this dill pickle recipe as long as I've grown cucumbers. It's easy to make and the pickles taste amazing. I make these in small batches every couple of days as the cucumbers in my garden get big enough to use. They keep for around 6 month in the refrigerator if you don't eat them first.
This recipe is for the chicken nuggets my mom used to make for me when I was little. They're much better than nuggets from fast food places or the grocery store. Don't let the hot sauce scare you away. The buttermilk cancels the heat and lets the pepper flavor stand out. This will make approximately 48 nuggets or 12 fingers.
This is one of my favorites. The flavor is best if you marinate the chicken in the sauce overnight or freeze in the sauce and thaw in the fridge overnight before cooking. This can also be baked in the oven in around 30 minutes. Serve over a bed of aromatic rice such as jasmine or basmati rice with a mix of steamed vegetables on the side.
This recipe was given to me by a friend of my wife. It is the best bean pie I have tried, and I've tried quite a few. I use a convection oven so I'm a little lenient with the bake time. My oven bakes a little faster than regular ovens. I am working on a chocolate version, a low fat version and a sugar free version of this pie. I'll post these recipes as soon as I perfect them.
I've had this recipe for a long time. It's the only crust my wife asks for whether I'm making pot pies, fruit pies or turnovers. It makes awesome homemade Hot Pockets too. You can substitute whole wheat flour for all or some of the AP flour. This is enough for a 9 inch 2 crust pie, two 9 inch single crust pies or 10-12 hot pockets. You can double the recipe if you have a really big mixing bowl for OAMC.
I got this recipe from GE. I changed it a little bit since I'm diabetic. Their recipe called for confectioners sugar, sweetened coconut and candied cherries. I opted for Splenda, unsweetened coconut and no sugar added dried cherries to keep the carbs lower.
This is the recipe I've been waiting for my whole life! I got this recipe from Peter Reinhart's book Artisan Breads Every Day. I have never found a cracker recipe that I've been happy with before this one. All other recipes make gritty or soft crackers. They were never flaky or crisp. That has all changed now! Try these and you'll agree. Just make sure to follow the recipe to the letter. Don't substitute different flours or you'll be disappointed.

This is the best kettle corn recipe I've tried. I make it in a Whirleypop stove top popcorn popper. You can use a 6 to 8 quart covered saucepan but make sure to stir it constantly or the kernels will burn.
I use coconut oil but you can use canola or corn oil instead. I use brown sugar to give the popcorn a caramel taste but you could use white sugar as well. It will have a more neutral flavor.
This is a recipe that I've been perfecting for the last couple of years. My wife and I don't buy store bought bread any more thanks to this recipe. It is also much healthier than any other bread recipe I've found but doesn't taste "healthy". I included ingredients that make this bread good for diabetics also. This recipe works best in a stand mixer but it would be fairly easy to halve the recipe and make it in a bread machine. I wouldn't recommend mixing it by hand (unless you have Popeye arms...). It's a fairly sticky dough. Prep time includes all 3 rises.
I modified a recipe from www.CookingForEngineers.com to make it more diabetic friendly. These are great and there are so many variations to try for toppings and crusts. I do recommend using the paper lined aluminum muffin cups. They make it much easier to remove the cheesecakes from the pan while cooling. You can double or triple the recipe for OAMC. These freeze perfectly.
I couldn't find a good recipe for sugar free sweet pickles anywhere on the internet, so I combined a bunch of different recipes and added a couple twists of my own. These are ready to eat in 3 days but taste better if allowed to sit for 7 days.
