Quote from Backyard chickens "I made it today thinking the whole time…there is no way this is going to work. I used 1/2 milk and 1/2 water and I used my Kitchen Aid mixer to knead the rolls for 5 minutes then cut them into 16 pieces instead of 12, shaped…rested the 10 minutes and bakes 10 minutes." The recipe came from their newsletter.

    Recipe #435809

This is a fairly light recipe from France. The veggies are only cooked a little in the oil so there isn't an abundance of calories.

This a terrific recipe with no added sugar because tomatoes contain sufficient sugar to make it naturally sweet. We'll put this on pasta not pancakes! It comes from the Sicilian Culture website. Try it and you will see. I also sub 1 lb cooked chicken (if using cooked chicken, cook sauce for complete time and add chicken just prior to serving), or 1 lb Italian hot sausage for the ground beef.

Very simple appetizer. I think it tastes great. Try it and let me know. I don't know where it came from.

    Recipe #417272

This recipe has been in my family for quite awhile. There isn't much to it but everyone seems to like it and like most of my recipes it's quite simple.

This recipe comes from a 1928 cookbook from Rector's Restaurant on Broadway. In business more than 100 years ago. If you have access to fresh horseradish this is the sauce to try. Very simple.

    Recipe #417035

This a recipe found in an old cookbook titled 'The Art of Cooking and Serving"

    Recipe #417029

This is just one more pizza dough recipe. It is very delicious and easy to make. It work very well in a cast iron skillet or just a regular pizza pan. This is sufficient to make 3 12" pizzas. It is not thin crust! Not sure where I got it but have used it for a long time.

    Recipe #416813

Mexican recipe of 2 eggs, one with a red sauce on top and the other with a green sauce separated on the dish by a serving of refried beans. I'm not including the recipe for refried beans, just using canned beans for simplicity. The idea is more in the presentation than a specific recipe of the the 2 different salsas and separation by beans. Every restaurant has their own recipe for salsa that goes on the eggs. In Mexico they use sunny side up eggs cause they can't turn them because they don't refrigerate eggs. I make them over easy.
