Found on Pinterest. I make a recipe similar with pizza sauce/pepperoni- so thought the Alfredo/chicken/ham combo would be good. I changed it slightly from the Pinterest post by adding a touch of Italian seasoning. It got a thumbs up from the family- so it wins!
Fast and easy- my kind of weeknight recipe. You can easily add meat to this- just cook it up in the Dutch oven before adding the pasta and liquids. I find it's tasty without meat- but sometimes brown up some hamburger or meatballs before adding the rest of the ingredients.
Adapted from a Pinterest recipe-- I lightened it up a little bit- but not too much- it's still cheesy and yummy! My kids don't like "red and green thingies" in their food, so I use a hand blender on the Ro-Tel before adding it to the pot.
A tasty, pop in your mouth, treat. Easy and quick- and fun to eat. This is the appetizer version, but it could also be made in a full sized muffin tin as more of a lunch sandwich. Adjust the spice with stronger sauce.
Good for all kinds of fish- I'm using Tilapia as the example in the recipe, but I've also used it on Salmon, Trout, and Flounder. I've also entered for 1 lb of fish for 2 servings. Just adjust the serving size to accomodate your amount of fish.
My friend, Colleen, uses this marinade for pork, beef, chicken-- and always has good results. Now I do, too! (my version is lower sodium than hers) The recipe makes enough marinade for 5 lbs of meat, so adjust accordingly.
From Eating Well- just sooo good! The orginal recipe was baked in a water bath, but I chose to skip that part-- I like the edges to get a little crunchy. If you want a softer option, bake the 8X8 pan in a 9X13 pan that has about 2-3 cups of water in it.
Yummy, easy, fast and even healthy! I'm amazed at the nutrition difference between using real eggs and Egg Beaters-- still good protein without the fat/cholesterol. Of course, I used real butter and cheese-- oh well. I think it's a great combination.
