Easy. One Dish. Fast. An adjusted version of the recipe found in an old edition of Better Homes and Gardens New Cook Book. My family recently turned vegetarian and this has become one of our staples. Unless you use an extremely potent curry powder (or increase amount), the recipe won't come out spicy.
My family loves Pad Thai, but the pre-made sauces are so expensive! So, I did a bunch of research, looked at many ways of making the sauce, tried several versions, and this is the one I have landed on.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Because the ingredients listed below come in so many variations and strengths, it will take a little taste testing to get your sauce right.
Made with Soysage, this is an amalgamation of a couple of different recipes to make an easy, fast vegetarian main course. I use Lightlife Smart Sausages - Italian Style.
Note, recipe does use butter and cheese so it is not vegan. Also, feel free to adjust spices to your liking.
