Food TV's Bobby Flay gets this super-easy and company-worthy tenderloin cooked for him every year on his birthday by his wife, Kathy. You won't believe how easy it is! Note that this recipe is written for a gas oven; also note that prep time is 3 hours (at least) for marinating. You'll need the heavy-duty aluminum foil for this one.... no substitutions or it won't work!!

    Recipe #206020

From Jane at Just a Pinch Recipe Club: Again, going back to my vintage recipes that have been in my family for years, I spotted an old recipe from the 40's for carrot cake. It was titled THE BEST CARROT CAKE. Well, I figured it was now the 90's at the time and was sure someone probably had come up with a better recipe since then. I was wrong. To date, I have not tasted better carrot cake ever. It's easy and the outcome is amazing.

    Recipe #454763

The title says it all! From food blog Foodgasmtv. LOVE that there are only 6 ingredients!!

    Recipe #463119

Sarah Carey, a longtime food editor at Martha Stewart Living and editor-in-chief of Everyday Food did this recipe on the Today Show... I immediately fell in love and so did my family. I've tweaked it a bit for our tastes.... This is simple enough (espcially the noodles) that it can be made in a dorm room....goodness knows there's enough Ramen there.... :)

    Recipe #486259

Trisha Yearwood did this one on the Today Show - quick and easy using a box cornbread mix (Jiffy preferred). I've added chopped green chiles or chopped green onions for a bit of flavor, color and spice to jazz it up. Always moist and a favorite!

    Recipe #474559

Easy, cheap and delicious!!! I have brought these to Christmas cookie exchanges, to potluck dinners, family gatherings, and every time it's the first thing to go and I'm always begged for the recipe. Hope you love it too!

    Recipe #444611

As told to me by my Spanish mother, with her optional changes. One includes eggs for extra protein, and one is a vegetarian version with potatoes and spinach added.

    Recipe #518735

From the Food52 website. This was soooo amazing the first time I made it that my husband ate the rest in the middle of the night - it was supposed to be my lunch the next day!!! How can you go wrong with asparagus, leeks, pancetta, garlic, orange zest, parsley and pine nuts. Savory, fresh, addictive!!

    Recipe #421771

This is a Paula Deen recipe (although I've heard it was originally a Pillsbury Bake-Off winner years ago) that is absolutely simple and delicious! It's easy to make variations, too, if you're not that into almond.... substitute the almond extract for vanilla, or orange, or butter rum.... and the almonds in the filling for pecans, or a bit of orange marmalade, or toffee bits, or mini-chocolate chips.... the variations are endless! I increased and slightly sweetened the filling, and make half again (1 1/2 recipe) the amount of glaze from Paula's recipe according to our family's tastes. Splenda also works well to sub for the sugar for those low-carbers and diabetics out there. The egg wash isn't mandatory; I usually skip it and just ice the danishes and sprinkle on the nuts.

    Recipe #192721

Chef Grace Parisi's amazing, creamy vegetarian version of this dish.

    Recipe #507090

A Paula Deen recipe; I haven't had the chance to make it yet, but I don't want to lose the recipe....

    Recipe #204078

From America's Test Kitchen; posted here so as not to lose. The baking soda helps break down the cornmeal, and covering the pot on low keeps the stirring to a minimum.

    Recipe #506657

This is an Emeril Lagasse recipe that I didn't want to lose, so I am posting it here. I haven't tried it yet, but if anyone does, let me know if it's any good!

    Recipe #193324

Adapted from David Lebovitz's "The Perfect Scoop". This can be altered with other extracts, or the addition of fruit... the possibilities are endless! It really is as good as Pinkberrys!! An ice-cream maker is required. Cooking time is freezing time.

    Recipe #479502

From Baltimore Style Magazine, March/April 2008. Chef Andrew Evans.

    Recipe #461921

Bon Apetit magazine's columnist Molly Wizenberg shares her holiday baking ritual: the old-timey Aunt Bill's Brown Candy, a cross between praline and fudge from her homestate of Oklahoma. This soft, nutty, and somewhat crumbly southern delight is the ideal holiday treat.

    Recipe #448590

This recipe is credited to Ms. Charlese Smith and is the Grand Prize Winner in the Soup Division of the 53rd Annual National Hard Crab Derby held in Crisfield, MD. It is very rich - not a diet soup!! I make this with one cup grated onion sauteed in the butter until very soft to start, before adding the milk and cream, but I didn't want to add that below as this is the original recipe.

    Recipe #508854

From Just a Pinch Recipes, by Cheryl Miller. Posted here for safekeeping... will be making soon!
